It is not enough to see
a soul will manifest
what has been sown
immortal purple flame
gnarled roots in stone
the truth of nature
an external blooming
expression of the world

a flourishing vision
voraciously spreads
animating the meadow
with honey-scented breeze
steep slopes sweetened
magnificent blossoms
open lavender wings
to conquer the sky

here the air is thin
windblown seeds
so carelessly thrown
to harsh alpine soil
become willful weeds
persistently untamed
internally unchained
forever wild flowers
Lupine are symbolically associated with imagination, inner guidance, self-reflection, and the development of wisdom that sees beyond polarizing dualities.

~~~
so simple the notion,
that healing's potent potions
are non-directional portents
coming at you
like a Bob Dylan, Avettt Brothers,
rhythm and rhyme,
tunes injected from the outside knowing,
from the first time
that they were residing inside,
all the time
in, on and under the skin
the conflicted battle rages between the
coursing forces of
I believe
and the low grade infection, incurable return of
faithless disbelief and irreconcilability
a parental entry knowing,
despite different routes of administration,
there is no pharmacology for a limb lost,
any prosthesis healing supplanted
from without,
never achieves
anything approaching next to normal
but from within,
the heart can heal itself,
trying a natural bypass,
doing its imperfect best
to correct the uncorrectable,
resigned to accept the unacceptable
the slight edge felt from
cutting a garden's new growth for replanting
an act of belief in the future,
witnessing a sunset's nightly color sky's return rebirthing,
knowing, admitting to oneself,
that miraculously better than all ever seen prior are
medicines that come from the outside,
and inward bound daily injections,
they are:
"healing, from the inside out...
just as it was meant to be!"
Warning:
any message you send
can and will
be turned into a poem
"this healing, from the inside out...
just as it was meant to be!"
while i am astounded.the sun  comes
out by the drawers.    open they show
me birds and insects.      did you know
they cross their fragile legs      and tie
with cotton threads.
did you know that we are the only         ones
who do not eat insects and that            there
are more species of beetles than              any
other creature. having lost the             sexton
i despair while some                                  tick.
they thought it was the soul from the     dead.
i thought penguins were smaller and         that
an elephant had more teeth than                 that.
you let me hold one;  it was so heavy          so you
show me the tusks too, and we talked about trunks
and headaches.
it was hot there and hungry so i went for lunch,
a sandwich, returned later to look through   the
microscope.the man in the museum helped me.
there are fibres everywhere and when our   coat
comes
off he said there is a shower we cannot see only
imagine.
later i saw a sputnick, yet i liked the mothths and
beetles best. so does the man in the         museum.
Some things are simply understood
Without the need for spoken word
Others better said out loud
So they may be heard
Some thoughts are better unexposed
So not to harm the atmosphere
Others need to fly and soar
To land on lover's waiting ear
Hold the tongue, bite the lip
Let not insults from it trip
But compliments that smooth the way
Let them see the light of day
Really pleased to be the daily.
Thanks to all for reading,
what a great site we enjoy here at hellopoetry.
I know you think
I wear lipstick everyday
And my hands always
Smell like
Chai tea and raspberries
I know you think
My tongue always
Tastes like
Melted sugar
And peppermint
I know you think
I sleep in the same lace
Underwear
You find me in
On certain Sundays
In the spring
When the air is light
And my jeans
Don't stick
To my thighs
I know you think
I'm larger than life
Above chipped teeth
And bruises
And cigarette ash
And acne
I know you think
My eyes don't turn
Blood red
And poison
When I cry
I know you think
My finger nails
Are always
Freshly painted
And I always wear
A bra
That fits
I know you think
Yoga pants are
My comfy clothes,
Never gray sweat pants
With a faded red stain
Between my legs
I know you think
My calves are always
Soft, hairless, and toned
You think
I wait by the phone
With vanilla incense
Burning in a red robe
But you're wrong
And that's impossible
I won't let you in
Cause I won't be
The one
To shatter
Your whole
Pretty, little world
I'm disgusting
Sometimes
I sleep with
Way too many
Girls and guys
And sometimes I cry so much
My eyelids peel
Til I look like
Leather face
And I don't leave my house
For 8 days
And in those 8 days
I shower
Maybe twice
My skin gets rough
In the winter
Right now
I have a
Pimple on
My left shoulder
And every morning
It looks a little
Meaner
My ***** spill
Out over the top
And the sides
Of my favorite
Sport's bra
And I don't care
I smell like burnt oil
And cheap hair dye
Half of the time
I haven't washed
My sheets in a while
And they smell like
Salt water
And chlorine
You put me up on a pedestal
From which I refuse to fall
So I'll stay here,
Far,
Untouchable
You'll never love me
With sticky tampons
In my garbage can
And half drank beer bottles
On my bedroom floor
I'll stay here,
Far,
Untouchable,
Safe
Don't fix what isn't broken
Can't fix what never existed
This was a spurr of the moment write that isn't based off of anything (currently) happening in my life. It is a thought I've been examining within myself and in my relationships with others.
I can hear you bellowing from a room that rests just outside of my imagination.
My skin crawls
as the wind quietly whispers
begging me to open the window
so the thoughts that once crowded my head
can slide back into bed with me
Nothing ever hurts as bad as it did the first time
each sip of the bottle is easier than the next
as I slip back into unconsciousness
I can hear the rain
hammering on my roof
relentlessly
again and again and again
wishing that maybe the next drop
will be the one that breaks the camel's back
melancholy memories make me muse
perhaps I lost a piece of me when I lost you
and if everything
God willing
must end up right
than Perhaps it makes sense
that you visited me tonight
I feel the flames
sneaking past the floorboards
devouring my oxygen
encapsulating my space
occupying my attention
When the past comes knocking on your door
remind it why
it doesn't have a place in your home
Everybody we meet in our life
Is for a purspose
That's what am hearing from my childhood
They come like
Love
Hate
Pain
Jealous
Care
Laugh
Tears
Chaos
Death
Heaven
Hell
Unfortunately we cannot tag each and
Everyone into one category
Life is an amalgamation of all
Captured in a spider web of thoughts
I'm glad you took everything that would remind me of you.
Cause I don't want to remember anything we went through.
I don't want to remember your laughter, your face..
Or how you ripped out my heart and left a hole in its place.
I don't want to think about how easily you left.
Or wonder why I am forced to, when you can so easily forget.
I don't want to feel lonely just because you're not around.
I wish I too could quickly find someone else to help me not feel down..
But I haven't and it feels like the world is crushing my chest.
Words can never explain just how much I'm depressed...
How could you hurt some body who loved you so much??
I would have done anything for you! How was that not enough?...
Now it's back to square one.. Alone and in pain, too...
And still... I hope what you did to me... NEVER happens to you...
