If you asked me to tell
where the ceiling ends and
the walls begin,
I wouldn’t be able to tell you.
When I think about you
everything blurs into black
like an unkindness of ravens.
And I—
You are
the only thing that ever
crosses my mind as soon as
dusk turns into night,
and I could never tell you why.
I like to think that
just as birds know when to fly
and time knows when to die,
I was meant to love you.
When you are too afraid to tell someone "I love you" so you write a poem that dances around the subject

It's okay
It's okay
It's okay

To be sad.

Acknowledge the pain.
Acknowledge the confusion.
Acknowledge the fear.

It's okay.
It's okay.
It's okay.

Repeat.

Only let a couple tears fall.
Those are the only ones you can afford.
At this moment.

It's okay.
It's okay.
It's okay.

To be sad.
I need to breath..

Raindrops~

you are the raindrops
that patters through my rooftop,
gently sliding on my window
creating a short-lived ripple
that slowly goes away

if only I can make you stay.

I, on my window
watching the pale sky,
with winds and clouds so dreary
and a soul starting to get weary

It's been a dark, lonely day,
and I've been waiting
for the sun to come out and stay

you are the raindrops
that gone away
no words or sound as you
fall to the ground

I, on my window
watching you vanish
without saying goodbye.
Goodbye.

Sir
I am really sorry for my late submission
I will skip the part where I tell you my excuse
which you will most probably not believe

my excuses are invalid anyway
in this educational system
and ****** up conventions

I am hoping for your kind consideration
I worked on it with the tiny strand of inspiration I found
applying the ever reliable art of cramming
I would love to never see you again
because I passed your class

let my last words be
everything is ******* except you, sir

the first time our eyes met
possibilities filled my heart
you smiled at me softly
i could feel that spark

the first time our hearts met
you made my still blood flow
we stayed up late, just talking
about things we didn't know

the first time our skin met
the warmth then filled my veins
we started a fire together
making love in the rain

.
.
.

the first time our egos met
the collision took it's toll
we got lost in the explosion
where did our pieces go?

.
.
.

the last time our eyes met
you were driving away
you looked toward me blankly
with nothing left to say
