"Do you ever think I'd really leave you?"
Your finger brushed the bridge of my nose
Your lips parted, meeting mine
It felt like a promise
And I was naive enough to rest assured

He kissed her
a kiss so seducing
and deep. It caused
the angels to faint
and the demons
to weep. The earth
almost got knocked
off it's axis as it watched
and shouted out loud
for an applause to watch
it again on repeat* ~

You sit beside me on the train,
Your hand reaches for mine as I feel your soft touch against my pale rough skin,
I look into your mesmerizing eyes and tell you that you are beautiful,
You chuckle as your cheeks glow bright pink,
People stare at me,
But no one seems to notice you,

I hold your hand as we stroll through the park,
Your innocent smile sending me into a daze of emotions,
Lighting a fire in my heart that burns full of passion and love,
The warm touch of your skin against mine,
And yet,
I still feel the cool summer's breeze blowing against my fingers,

After dinner we wander aimlessly enjoying each others presence,
Joke after joke,
Laugh after laugh,
We soon find ourselves at the front of my door,
I love you I say as I move closer towards you,
Your tender lips touch mine,
But I don't feel anything,

I wake up to you gazing into my eyes,
Your silky brown hair flowing elegantly with the calm breeze,
I look deep into your eyes,
Entrapped in a everlasting trance,
A tear rolls down my cheek,
The alarm clock buzzes,
The tune ringing in my ears until finally snapping me out of it,

After getting dressed into my black suit,
I slowly trudge towards the door,
The sunlight shines onto my skin,
But not warming it,
Only making it colder,
I enter the car to find a picture of you and I at our wedding,

As I start up the car engine,
Tears uncontrollably escape my eyes,
I reverse the car out of the driveway,

With my soul filled with darkness,
My heart full of sadness,
My body aching of pain,

I drive off to

**Your Funeral
I would like to dedicate this poem to Elise Law. The idea came to me during a long shower, which became even longer as I came up with more ideas for the poem. I hope you guys can appreciate it.
He is the tumultuous ocean,
The twisting, rolling sea
That feigns a certain gentleness
Until its rage breaks free

So vast and so unending
And limitless in worth
I took him once for granted
As I wandered through the surf.

Without the tumulus ocean
Without its rolling seas
Without the tide that tosses me
And never sets me free

The arid, fallow earth would crack
Beneath my burning feet
Reminding me of which I lost
And dried up with the heat

But salt leaves me to languish
No sweetness he can quench
Time will only tell from here
If love can fill this trench.

Dusan
And so as we slowly walk on the beach
The sunset is shooting the last rays of light on your tanned face.
I see the purity and freedom in your eyes,
the days passing by,
but your eyes still look the same.
They're still looking at me,
telling me that my presence is
important to you.
So I grant you with a kiss on your eyes every day
In hope that they will stay
the same as every day.

It seems as if everyone is telling me that I cannot think of you that way.

Not again.

I know more than anyone of how much trouble you can be.

I know I shouldn't want to take chances when I already know the outcome.

But sometimes I do because sometimes I miss you.

Sometimes I miss the way you would caress my hand and hold it tight.

Sometimes I miss your hugs that reassured me everything's gunna' be

alright.

Sometimes I miss the way your lips taunted mine in the moonlight.

Sometimes I miss the gentleness of your kiss on my mouth.

Sometimes I miss the "goodnight, beautiful" and "good morning,

sunshine!" messages that brought tears to my eyes as I looked back at

them.

Sometimes I miss you, I really do.
I am new to this, so comments would be highly appreciated.
