Give me a howler
A scream, a shout or a whisper

This stillness that binds the sky
Break it down, and let it thunder
Why is the water so still?

Yet you feel the hurricane
Underneath it all
Underneath it all.
The moon spoke through its light
You know not that which you do not see,
Don't resist the darkness of uncertainty
Let go of your fears and embrace me.

there was nothing but
the sound of feet
like pat pat pat
pushing against wet sand,
the call across mountain tops,
the trail toppling with raisins and walnuts,
the swish of lungs beating, running
and the way water splashed grandiosely,
or the comforts of a car ride,
blasting radio whilst carving around green hills,
palms raised against the cool wind
and feeling like the flowers and weeds
are sighing in unison,
or the ceasing daylight accompanied with
a hot meal, hot stew and bowls of sticky rice
creamy mashed potatoes and a glass of good wine,
which twinkles whenever the candle is lit
at the rickety table,
a collection of something
chimes call, the belly laughter rolls
and a day of blues and blacks,
where tears run and skies sag in lack
these are all human memories
bittersweet and living indefinitely
The Cremains
Shall find
A Resting Place
In
The Tranquil Godavari

Marking The End
Of
The Mortal

Until Then
In
Peace
I shall find
Home
Thoughts from observing last rites rituals sometime back .

Another 'Major Improvement' ...
This time it's a road,
Another victim croaks his last,
Goodbye Mr Toad ..!
Mans 'Major Improvements;, might not be viewed as  Major Improvements in nature.

He touched me with his words and loved me with his mind
To the point I could not breathe
You know that suffocating kind
He sang to me with his heart and danced with curly black hair
Blue eyes so bold
But you never knew he was there
He took me to the pictures the lights turned down low
Watching his favourite star
But I was his favourite show
Never did he shout never did he lie
His grip was a little harsh
But that's not what made me cry
Because
He touched me with his hands and loved me with his lies
To the point i was gasping for air
And blue bruises i couldn't disguise
He sang to me with his words and watched my curly black hair
He searched for unbeaten skin
Even though he knew it was not there

it's ok
in the morning my blood is cold,
there's chips of ice crawling around my heart
And it paralyzes me.
my mind has control over my body.
it's hard to breathe like this.

I'm so cold I'm shaking.
my lips are blue and
My skin has frostbite all over,
But I'm the only that can see the damage

I get looks of pity
when I try to claw out of my body,
I sliced through my legs and arms
I tried to make an escape

there's a war inside of me that I can't seem to appreciate
please please please, leave me be.
