What persistence and tenacity And the strong will to survive The courage to go the extra mile That my friends is no jive Continuing to take flight In spite of all obstacles Shows a vital source of energy And makes one quite durable
The red, white, and blue The colors of our flag that shine through Our nation will always stand tall And rise above it all This is a time for a celebration For this holiday tradition America is the good land Where all of us will raise our hand
Always spread good cheer Be the inspiration Use words of encouragement Enlighten your vision Uplift and empower Strike with a tender force Fulfill your obligation Be that power source
Do not waste your life away Hanging around the wrong crowd For they have nowhere to go They are obnoxious and loud The more that you ally yourself with them Nothing but trouble and turmoil will appear You will often find yourself in a trance Am I making myself abundantly clear?
Remain self-motivated and self-determined Do your best each day Believe that you can Have that strong will in every way It all starts with one step Put your heart into everything that you do Find your inner strength Guide your way through

Always be that sunshine Who brightens someone's day Continue to uplift and empower Be that mentor that enshrines accordingly If you can encourage others to do their best People will always see you as an inspiration This will give them that vibrant energy To thrive in any given situation
