Take me somewhere I belong,
I need a place to call home.
Give me happiness, set me free.
Drain the pain inside of me.
Let's run together, run away.
Show me what it's like to want to stay.

"He who doubts his own will, shall be ******, not to infinite pain, but to a lifetime of discomfort, for it is not god who punishes man, but rather, it is man who punishes himself."  -William McLaughlin

"Only when forgiveness rises from the ashes of judgement and persecution, does then a man rise worthy of humanity and wisdom."  -William McLaughlin

"Faith in god can bring comfort to otherwise lost children, but faith in mankind can bring lost children home, for children are not born in the heavens...they are the sons and daughters of man."  -William McLaughlin

"And Whereas those who tred on anothers faith deserve a guilt riddled conscience, those who advertise their own deserve a well rested mind."  -William McLaughlin
philosophy is a great thing, use it, create it, pass it on, and you will be surprised who will listen to you

Love comes with a price,
not everything is free.
You toss the dice,
but not without a fee.
One must give,
the other must take.
One may live,
the other may break.
The dice represents chance. When someone "rolls the dice" in a relationship with somebody else, they're taking a big chance.

Come to my arms --- is it eve? is it morn?
Is Apollo awake? Is Diana reborn?
Are the streams in full song? Do the woods whisper hush
Is it the nightingale? Is it the thrush?
Is it the smile of the autumn, the blush
Of the spring? Is the world full of peace or alarms?
Come to my arms, Laylah, come to my arms!

Come to my arms, though the hurricane blow.
Thunder and summer, or winter and snow,
It is one to us, one, while our spirits are curled
In the crimson caress: we are fond, we are furled
Like lilies away from the war of the world.
Are there spells beyond ours? Are there alien charms?
Come to my arms, Laylah, come to my arms!

Come to my arms! is it life? is it death?
Is not all immortality born of your breath?
Are not heaven and hell but as handmaids of yours
Who are all that enflames, who are all that allures,
Who are all that destroys, who are all that endures?
I am yours, do I care if it heals me or harms?
Come to my arms, Laylah, come to my arms!

Deep down inside

A fire is burning in defied

No rain can wash it away

No pain can keep it at bay

The fuel that keeps it glowing

Is of the life that is flowing

The heat it liberates

Makes us to celebrate

The women we are

The fire that we bear

They chain it with tradition

To stop it from destruction

But the fire that is inside

Is not to be deride

It’s the way to make us strong

When everything goes wrong

It can be contained

When love is sustained

The warm glow it share

Is beautiful as prayer

When it is enslaved

Pure destruction is paved

Only way to be in harmony

Is to let the eternal fire free…

She said "baby, your voice is my favorite song"
I should have known, a favorite song lasts for only so long
You listen to it over and over
Until it becomes too much.
I think she has a new favorite song...
Perhaps she's been listening to it all along.
The beat of my song never changed,
But for her I would have changed everything about this song.
My song has ended and she's on to the next.
She can try to rewind this tape,
But this song has been deleted.
There is no way to get it back,
No history of the song ever being recorded is found.
She said I was her favorite song.
That song was in so many playlists but now,
Now those playlists have all new songs.
It's like they were never there at all.
I was her favorite song
Not now this song has no place at all.
She was my biggest fan
And now no one remembers my name.
These lyrics were meaningless,
The song had ended
And now the curtain has closed
My girlfriend dumped me for one of my friends and that inspired this poem

Please say no.
When I tell you I love you,
Please say no.

I rather have you hurting me
Than me hurting you.

Please say no.
When I reach out to you,
Just say no.

I rather be ashamed of myself for saying it
Than letting your heart break when I let you go.

But I feel like I don't need to tell you this,
Because you already know what to say.
Because you're chasing someone else.

And I know,
You'll never turn to me for love.
You'll only turn to me for those sweet things.
The happiness and the smiles she'll never give.

Even though I want you,
I can't have you.

So please,
When I say I love you,
Please say no.
Just say no.
Just say no.
Just no.
