So perfect. So prominent. So sure.
A captivating smile I can no longer endure.
Your skin upon my skin a moment living forever,
I can still hear you whisper how we’re better together

Then you find out she’s nothing but a ****,
Who keeps you coming back for more.
Out of your chest she’ll steal your heart,
As she leaves you washed up on her shore.

To each its own I sincerely dwell,
Mischievous wonders, spiteful wishes to hell.
To strongly hate, or slowly mistrust,
The things we had, a history in rust.

Run down with incompetence, I have always been a lost cause,
Your persona of proficiency, however, blinded others from my flaws,
Shadowed by greatness, I wonder where I went wrong,
Seemingly out of place I hope to find where I belong.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Well dear your face has quiet the looks,
But your personality isn’t pretty in anyones books.
You bicker, you frown, you must have your way,
Those of no importance see no time of your day.
Such attitudes, such habits, they come back to haunt
When you realize you’ve lost what it is that you want.

You do things from your heart.
It gets thrown back in your face

There’s no sense in caring.
      Loves all about the chase.

Worn down seams are covered by the hard covers we present,
If you took the time to read my contents, would you ease up and relent?
Or would you stick me on your shelf, amongst others there to rot?
Forget me there and move along without a second thought?
