What puts a smile on my face
is a smile on yours
When we sit and talk
and your problems you pour
I like you even more
when the same you do for me
When you say, "I understand,"
you're the friend of the century
I welcome your presence
because every moment counts
Time with you is like love
taken in large amounts
There's no such thing as too close
You never stray too far
What I really like about ya
is that you know who you are
You never spend your time
trying to convince others
that you are nice and kind
You just let them discover
We know where we stand
Outsiders need not apply
They see not what I do
when looking at your eyes
We connect on a level
different than most
You're my constant guest
I'm proud to be your host
You and me together
is so uncomparable;
what dreams are made of
or a love parable

i was drinking moonlight
while you were bullshitting
and perpetuating nothing
naming me strange
half-lighted and deranged
talking to voices
i shouldn't name
because the behave
like they transcend
the mundane

i care
truly
but i don't think
the way you do
and you think me
insane, fumbling for
embers in a cold place
chasing echoes
wishing i was someplace
different

wishing someone else
could drink the moonlight

Did you ever stop to think,
what it would be like to have no muse?
Because you feel like life is in the brink
without love, I am nothing but a belle with no use.

That when life seems ebbing,
emotions flowing like a stream?
Because it takes you to a never ending
soul-wrecking, self-blaming state you are deem.

Did you ever stop to think,
why we wasted so much time in blogging?
And expect much understanding from our online link
simply because sometimes only them can give the loving.

That when everything fails,
there the desperation begins
seeking answers to the thought-of happy ending fairy tales
And the "what-ifs" and "what could have-beens".

Did you ever stop to think,
that if you stop craving for the things you couldn't have
and settle for the things in your hand, be at peace and in sync
unexpectedly, you will receive the wonderful thing called LOVE.

Glancing my life, reflections in the mirror
Waving the smoke to make it all clear
I'm driving a car I cannot steer
Wasting my life, my one biggest fear
Simple minded folk; they gape and they leer
Power minded folk; corrupt while they jeer
I've worked and worked for many a year
To pay off my debt, the end's never near
They say "well that's life'', and I find this queer
There is more to existence than being a gear
I ask of you Earth, O' Mother, my dear
Shake them all off and away from here

Of the stars in the sky,
some faded, others bright.
Briefly I join them,
bringing end to the night.

Of the Sun I'm prologue,
I come before the day.
I guide the mighty Sun,
and I show him the way.

Of the peoples of Earth,
for who I do labour.
The name they've given me,
is no longer favoured.

Of darkness they image,
when people hear my name.
Malevolence and fear,
It is me who they blame.

My name has been spoken,
from near here and a far.
Lucifer they call me,
I am the Morning Star.
