Be the change you want to see
Try not to judge, let others be
The rain will stop, the storm shall pass
Pleasure is pleasing and love can last

Set up for sorrow, it's hard to see
Open your eyes, switch off your tv
Put down the remote and venture outside
Get out in to nature where healing resides

Turn off your phone, log off the net
You'll be surprised with the solace you get
Write a poem, cook a nice meal
Declare your love, see how it feels

Put away the plastic, stop doing your hair
Go back to basics, even though it's rare
Laugh at your troubles, hug it out
Why are you frowning, what's that all about
A sign of the times, the information age
Escape from the trap, break out of your cage

Tell me now, how do you feel
Please keep it up, do we have a deal
Memories last but gadgets do not
Live your life fully, run from the rot

a breaking point*
everyone has one, right?
a place where they can't go on
without an explosion of emotion
or just quitting all together

but where is mine?

where is my stopping point?
where i can rest my eyes
and feel ease
a point where i do break
and get everything out
because to get better you have to break, right?

maybe that point has left out
forgotten by a god i dont believe in
leaving me in a constant hurt
a never ending cycle of being left
with no escape or coping

where is my breaking point?
it must be sad
to read about someone who wants to break down
who wants to feel all the pain he has experienced at once
just so one thing can maybe last
just so some other emotion
that isnt a deep depression
can be felt for more than an hour or so

maybe i need to make my own point
need to scrape some time out of my schedule
to let myself explode
let it out
get rid of the space it takes up
so i can leave some for anything else

but thats not how it works
it comes on its own time
like a bird to its feeder
or death to take a soul

maybe
my breaking point will take its time
so slow its taking parts of me
as i try to survive

maybe
my breaking point will be death
that when my blood pools out of my body
those deep dark emotions
will flow out with it

no longer carried by me
but the mortal body
that is left here
leaving my soul the lightest of them all

a breaking point
no one said
that it has to happen when youre alive

breaking  a heart is like,

ripping an artists' lovely canvas in half, as you watch the artist cry you laugh.

breaking a heart is like,

smashing a guitarists' guitar, it leaves a musical scar on the guitarist, who no longer wishes to be a star.

breaking a heart is like,

bringing a small child into society, quickly ruining their views of society.

breaking a heart is like,

telling the sun we no longer need him, he says okay, and we regret it as we're slowly dying the next day.

but hey, breaking hearts is popular now.

i mean like wow,

but to be honest, the more

hearts are breaking

the more art is silently awaking.

it's kind of sad really,

dont get me wrong, its breathtaking

but dont you think its silly

**how art has to be awoken this way?
breaking hearts is somehow turning into an art form? and i wanted to write about.

I think my dads heart is breaking, his body is slowly shutting down on itself as if to tell everyone he wants to pack up and leave.

I think my dads heart is breaking, too weak to even pump enough blood anymore as if to tell everyone he’s giving up.

I think my dads heart is breaking, he doesn’t try to catch his breath anymore as if saying he wants it to stay lost.

I think my dads heart is breaking, every absent look in his crystal eyes is a reminder that he’s so much sadder then he lets on.

I think my dads heart is breaking, every time he looks in the mirror his mothers reflection is staring back at him. Gaunt cheek bones and sunken eyes, they could be twins.

I think my dads heart is breaking, his body looks like it’s ready to conquer the world but on the inside its ready for retirement.

I think my dads heart is breaking, his smile keeps fading a little each day.

I think my dads heart is breaking, he used to say karma catches up to you, is it bad I think it’s finally caught up to him?

I think my dads heart is breaking, I don’t know how to fix it.

When you’re breaking
You have this look in your eye
Of betrayal
Knowing life brought your hopes up
Just to drive you to the ground
And your heart broke into a thousand more pieces.

When you’re breaking
I can see it in your smile
That strong mask you go back to
When you can’t deal with
The weight of the world
on your shoulders.

When you’re breaking
Your mind goes back to default
Telling you you’re alone
And that you have to be alone
Because that’s how you were raised

When you’re breaking
I’m breaking too
I tell you you don’t have to
Go through it alone
I’d walk with you through hell

When you’re breaking
You don’t see how much people care
How much love is there for you
If you only opened your heart
And let me put your pieces back together
Something I wrote abou a year ago because February had always been a bad year for us

Looks can ****
so they say,
but words can't hurt at all.

But whoever came up with the idiotic saying,
"Sticks and stones can break my bones,
but words can

Never

hurt me."

Has obviously never had a dictionary thrown at them.

Because words do hurt,
they think we can ignore it,
but the breaking point,
when is that?

They say it'll stop eventually,
but what if eventually isn't soon enough,
before...

The Breaking point.

The breaking point,
no one knows where it is,
but it kills,
everyone dies in the end.

But others aren't that lucky,
when they aren't looking,
tragedy happens,
and it sneaks up on them,
it forms,
from their own thoughts,
a knife,
it will ****.

they are called words.

Words make the breaking point,

the breaking point,
where no one knows where it is.

But,

It kills

Words are the deadliest of weapons,
they cause death, destruction,
and everything.

Wars form from...
words.

They are the destroyer of the human race.

So next time someone tells you to toughen up,
or that stupid saying,
or that it will eventually go away,
don't believe them,
it won't,
you have to be strong and break the words.

Like a wall,
they block you,
destroy them,
be a wrecking ball,
because they will come down,

and you will be,

victorious

You will win against...

*The Breaking Point.
stop bullying please. They don't know, it hurts.

Breaking news!
Breaking news!
They say life is what you make it

"You there!"
By the news stand,
Stop reading that fake ****

Opinions on papers
Contradicting the facts
Sending minds into spasms
And hypocritical attacks

Breaking news!
Breaking news!
They say life is what you make it

So get out into the world
And start creating your matrix

You can’t let the others
Tell you how it is
Life has no set teacher
But will always give you a quiz

Breaking news!
Breaking news!
They say life is what you make it

The world is full sinners
That try and achieve bliss

They’ll build up their churches
On indian grounds
So they can pray at night
For their sins to sleep sound

Breaking News!
Breaking News!
They say life is what you make it

So pick your poison and choose,
The thoughts you want remit
