This is the last thing I'll let you know,
Before I say goodbye,
Before I let you go..

I forgot the reasons that brought on this end.
Wiped back the tears that I let fall.
Changed your title as my friend.
Unraveled your lies and figured it all.

I found the answers to the questions I had.
Spent all of my time trying to know you true.
It seems I, somehow, banished your bad.
I guess, it was because, I really did love you.

Now all I want, is for you to know,
Why I'm saying goodbye,
And why I'm letting you go..

I see your face through every crowd,
And within the moments you're not even there.
The silence became extremely loud.
It seems, I lost myself somewhere.

The knots in my stomach became undone.
As you continued to walk, in my mind, you grew small.
My journey backwards suddenly begun,
And I swiftly remembered it all.

The moment you had first taken hold of my hand.
Posed for a photograph with that crooked smile.
Times when, together, we would stand.
Or walk, if not even, for a single mile.

So this, my dear, I hope you know
I've said goodbye,
But I can't let you go.

I took back every single word I had ever said.
Tore out the chapters from the story of us.
Broke everything in sight, if only within my head.
Woke up one morning, and boarded that bus.

The glimmer in my eyes dimmed down slow.
I recanted the first smile that welcomed you that day.
Collected up the pieces of my heart, and decided to go.
I gave you one more look, and then turned the opposite way.

I ache to trace the scars you've hid so well beneath your skin
To feast on the nightmares that plague your sleep
Let my hunger satiate deprivation
So that you may get an honest nights rest
and tell me all about the good dreams you had

I want to know all the curves to your body
and what makes them come alive
So that on days you're feeling dead
I can help bring you back to life

Let me entwine my fingers into the curled strands of your hair
And tangle them there for as long as you let me

Oh please let me do it for a long time

I want to know you without borders

Long
          intimate
                          conversations
over coffee and books we have read
         Books we want to read
     Books that weren't worth reading
            Books the other should read

And more coffee

Always more coffee so we can stay awake
For every moment that we share without borders

I want to sit with you in silence,

                 .             .             .

Look over and see you smiling with the pout of your lips
                   Like your dangerous
        And I'm asking for it
I'll always be asking for it

Without borders I would lean across the world
Just to hear your laughter
And hold your hand in mine
If only to feel your touch
                            Just once

*Watch the sun saunter off into the horizon
And the stars begin to shine
As the moon lights up the sky
      In a world without borders
      I could be yours
      And you could be mine

your fingers planted seeds everywhere you touched me
you watered them by whispering into my ears
and flowers sprouted from my spine each time you kissed me

i spoke to
a stranger
with a
hair-trigger
self destruct
button that
they wanted
to push:
and god,
how i wanted
to help-
but when
it came time
for me
to leave,
i left.
I'm drunk and I just
want to let you know
my head hurts when I see you
because I like you
and I am scared
because I get intense
and clingy
and you don't like that.
So sitting next to you
makes my bones ache
and my muscles scream
like I just ran a marathon.

When you're sad
which seems all the time now
it gets worse
because now
I want to hold you
rub your back
kiss your head
and tell you it'll be okay,
but you won't believe me
and I don't wanna be clingy.
I know you like it when I'm not
but I like you
so I have to scream
in my head that I can't
that sitting next to you is fine
but not TOO close
can't text him all day
can't show him this poem
can't constantly kiss him
on the shoulder or cheek
can't make him think
I'm clingy.

My body aches
head hurts
eyes sink in
pale red lips
cuts in my thighs like
Swiss cheese
and all I want
is to feel those lips
and hear your voice
and see that smile.
I want to text all day
and know you're okay.
Call you when I get
off work
and hear about your day
and how you feel.
Hear that laugh
that makes my old bones
vibrate as if I'm at a concert.

I am a crazy
clingy boy
and you want someone
that can sit alone
in a house
in quiet
and not feel
a thousand hands
clawing at his skin
and voices screeching and
calling him names.
You want someone that
can fend for himself
but I can't do either
and
I don't wanna lose you.
Drinking is ******* me
the water is murky and ***** and grey
but the fish keep swimming and swimming and
nobody asked to feel this way
but if the fish manage to survive
we can too
My eye lids lift before the sun
Enveloped in sheets covering from the cold that leaves a sting on my feet
Day breaks like these where my good intensions and supressed memories meet
My pillow sinks propping up the weight of my past
My bones subside in my skin for as long as it will last
I close my eyes again but they roam in black
As if ill dream away in an instant but ill consider that pack
Smoking one for ease
One for release
Just two more please
The smoking doesnt cease
Till im curled back in my sheets
Its whatever time am
When i cant stop thinking of him
I wrote your name out with the leaves
but the wind blew it around
I carved your name in the bark of a tree
but the lightning struck it down
I drew your name in the sand
but the waves washed it away
So I carved your name into my skin
and forever will it stay.
Everywhere else forgot your name
the bark, the sand, the leaves
I needed you out of my head
but you're still stuck under my sleeve.

Sprinkle her lightly
her powers so magical
The light of stardust

The glare from her stare
talk about your killer looks
don't look if you dare

She'll blind you useless
permanently dazed for life
forever dreamy

Those pretty peepers
shining hypnotizing me
forever dreaming

Stardust in my eyes
streaking out of existence
and into a life

Forever dreaming
magical light of stardust
sprinkle her lightly
