About No one
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
No one, no one here, no one there, ever.
Uncared for, it felt dark and misty.
All alone, aside seven billion souls.
Needed only when needed, a solitude.
Ring-fenced in an imaginary world of love.
No escape for me to my reality, it hurts.
Kept knocking on the walls, for affection.
Wisely I tethered on, purposely off,  living in a solstice of dream.
A prose about living. Dreams and imaginations play a role in solitude. Anyone can be whatever therein. No one judging you; so play on.

The News
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
News comes in spectrums
In the sun in the rain
Delivered by stork or by train
Not cloaked in fairytales
Cancer was the news
No tomorrow I wonder

I stood still amidst the cold stone room
Attentively listening to the news caster
A breeze of life flew out of me
As I gazed in awe about tomorrow
Devastated but without known sorrow
Life goes on said the unforgiving news breaker

In emptiness I glimpsed into the future
The day my loved ones living without mama

Quietness
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
Travel alone in a moonless night is a bliss, for the stars lightened my journey.
Without the sun and the moon is easy, for not even a shadow could bother me.
No noises, no judging eyes, no condemnation, just a mesmerising quietness.

Re You
Catnip Lily Jul 2020
Nymphs and butterflies were you? Simply a mystery.
People changed and we must step on. Nope, not relating to any experiences; I just loved nymphs and butterflies. # testing

Vambats
Catnip Lily Jul 2020
Sleep by the day and awaken at night.
Mingling with the unseen.
Bestfriends with the vambats.
Ugly to the eyes but gracefully felt.

It matters not to me what you are.
For in the darkness you lighten my fear.
With you I feel safe as without you I am lost.
Without you I might as well be dead.
With you within I become immortally alive.
There is a saying .. it matters not what you are .. the most important for me is who you are. Unseen to the eyes but felt in the heart.

A dreamcatcher
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
In your nothingness, I found you
In my nothingness, you discovered her
Leaving me to grief losing you
With such heavy heart I let you go
Only to meet you often in my dreams
A dream where you are a part of my being.
I find it amused to see a person changed upon discovering a new someone. Letting them go may be best for everyone.

Shadows
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
You lurked as my shadow
The shadow of immense love and affection
Even under the scorching sun, your shadow shaded me in my journey
Shadow that follows me everywhere, softly soothing my pain and agony
Devoted to those who help me during my illness. You know who you are..

Colours of Perspective
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
Lonely night, wind whistling and wolves howling, down south of the earth.

Glorious day, blue hue sky and butterflies dancing, upper north of the hemisphere.

A different colours of perspective, be it west or east, so move along love.
No argument please dear self, unless for a wothy cause. So move on heart and find yout destiny.

Rain - Flower
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
Imagine raining in hell.
Does it ring a bell?
What goes around comes around.

Language of Love
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
A score out of 10
My norm would be 1 on the language of love
Devoid of expression
Extremely misunderstood
Unable to utter love

Love is an art to many
A science to some
But an alien to me

In attempting to communicate love
Gifts and parties were thrown
How would that be matter now, because I lost you nonetheless
Expressing our love to another is a difficult thing to do probably due to a fear of being rejected ...

The Bond
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
Brace indefinitely one another
Our bond is made in heaven thereunder
Not just anyone except each other
The day seems shorter
The night seems forever
But if we have each other
Nothing should matter

Thy Blessing
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
The rain is pouring out of my soul
The roaring thunder left me cold
The blaring lightening is indeed bold
A sad story of a lady behold!
O Lord of the magnificent world
Please give us thy blessing tenfold
A prayer for me and all the readers ... Dear Lord please give thy blessing a billionfold.
A wordly test that is difficult for me to endure, so resorting to poetry is the way to free my soul.

Deceits vs. Egoism
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
The colours of emotions
Was it a deceit?
Alas! Could it be egoism?
Which was yours?
Black Yellow White
A separate sensations that cannot be mixed
Consumed by confusion, it engulfed me with a silent sadness.
Being deceived can caused the other party to suffer. Egoism would lessen pain for the victim, but with these two opposite traits, a relationship may fall beyond repair..

Denial
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
Unbelieving the unbelievable
A difficult changing intervals
Time flows unstoppably
Stop just for a second!
How can it be possible?

The unbelievable
A death sentence? A mockery?
A test? Or a blessing?
Denying an undeniable, was it just a waste of my precious time?

I felt sorrow, yours a merry lullabyes
Your love I borrowed, mine you coloured with dyes

Storm Riders
Catnip Lily Jun 2020
It is foreordained that nature changes after rain.
Storm riders, that is what we call ourselves.
We are one, a mama and her eight children.
Amidst all odds, we have stayed stronger together.
We have been broken by the land of a typhoon.
Stradelling the sadness brought by the waves.
Staying afloat in high tide.
Resolving misery due to the scorching sun.
An illness befalled us, a divorce broke our happiness, family fued threathening our oneness, poverty almost ring on us.
Despite all odds we have stayed together.
So, Storm Riders befit us and endless blessings would be our eternal prayers. Amen.
work in progress... together .. one ... family .. kinship
