The bed won't let me go afraid of the storm ahead

but I’ve seen the rain in your eyes and know there’s nothing to fear.

I like to be alone
when i’m alone I think a lot about you
and it hurts

It’s an emptiness feeling
it starts in my stomach then leads to my feet
they become cold

strangers we are
but we have known each other for longer then we have even known ourselves
your silhouette will be with me always
for times when i'm alone
and I regret not speaking up
I regret not making myself known
my feet are cold

do you feel empty too?
do you think about me when you’re alone?
do you miss the way you’ve never felt?

we will meet again
and this time
i’ll speak up
because we will always have led zepplin
and quiet spaces

I promised my heart it would never fall for society
but I find myself loving its stupidity

Do you ever think about your bones?

The way the support everything we do.

They break and they age and they grow.

Bones hold every story you've ever told.

From the time you broke your toe dancing to ice ice baby

to the time you wrote a new chapter.

Bones are everything we are

and everything we ever will be

Our bones are what's left behind

after we move on to the next life

Our bones will tell our lives stories.

The carpal tunnel from writing, painting and playing an instrument

these are all left behind

to tell the archaeologists we

were here

and we tried to show the world

we cared

about its

Bones

Sometimes I dream
When they tell me I can be anything I want to be
but something's you just can't be
like an apple or a tree
or someone else
someone else completly

At fourteen
I'm too young to drive
too old to go to tinker-town and
too young to be taken seriously
but I'm still free
I mean as free as you can be

Math, English and social studies
and a place I'm going to be
for the next four years
remind me that I'm
14

Memory it's a strange thing
It feels like It's been
forever
but yet just like
yesterday

The desks tell stories
of a boy written in lies
and a girl with nothing to write

Somethings just don't change
She flowers in rudeness and dies in love
Nothing has changed just the people and
The Game.

I know I'll miss it someday but for now I'll wish it.
All away.

Look up, do you remember the last time it rained

I do, every drop and every rainbow

I felt the storm the way you feel the wind

When the guitar faded out and the violin began

I laughed and I cried to the new beginning of time

I need to be more than my generation

I can’t leave my hands in theirs and believe it’ll be okay

I need to help, to feel, to dream, to do

because time heals all wounds and rain heals all pain

so forgive me for never listening

forgive me for listening to much

forgive them for they are blinded by the brightly lit screens

to those who feel the rain

to those who feel the beat

to those who feel the space

be more than faces

be humans
