Mims
I've got planets in my ears,
Stars in my eyes,
Black on my body,
And a heart full of lies.
I got my solar system gages today
Is it really
that hard
to pick up
the phone?
An homage to the 10W Poem titled 'You're Welcome' by Jack. Thanks for the inspiration!
Humming birds don't come
Around my house anymore
But it is April
So I sit by the window
And look outside in mad hope
Melt away my fear
hold my hand for just a bit
hungry eyes waiting
First time playing around with a haiku.
She is moonbeams
And dappled sunlight
Renewal and
New beginnings
Gracing the land
With fragrant blossoms
Buzzing bees
And dandelion flurries
As children play
In Spring’s garden
Blowing happy bubbles
And laughter floats
Touching the heart and soul
She is Mistress of Spring

Passed  the  lake  last  evening.
It  looked  dark,dank  and  threatening.
In  the  fast  fading  light.
The  moody  mountains  stood  tall.
With  thick  mist  swirling  across.
In  ghostly  fashion.
A  complete  contrast  to  the  summer  view.

I calibrate and exuberate when I bring my new level,
these girls look me in my eyes and lie to me they can't push the right pedal.

I wish I knew a girl true to the heart and not after an agenda,
a real love rather than the alternative such as Splenda.

When will I learn this love is practically unattainable in this crazy world, especially in this globalized Computerworld.

Call me pessimistic or just down right ugly,
or maybe I'm just roughly stubbly part of this muggy money.

I wish we were utopian and part of simpler times,
but this is unreasonable and not realistic as we live in lifetimes of nonstop wartimes.
