More than anything she wanted to open the windows and

scream ******* until her lungs burned from the sin

but having seen Jesus sitting in the corner, taking a drag

from his cigarette while staring at her with those piercing

blue eyes …stopped that thought.   And it faded like her soul

inside the swirls of smoke.

He leaned forward and without moving his lips he

planted the words inside her head…

“Sorry sweets…no one gives a **** anyways.”

And the devil laughed as always ready to find humor

in the most awkward moments

"We can't all walk on water sweetheart…

But we can **** sure sink to the bottom and remain in the depths".

No light can exist without darkness to remind us the borders are forever blurred so easily.

Three knocks on the table and he simply laughed to himself then relaxed in his chair

"I'm always around if you care for some company".

Sometimes it's tough when you are just laying bricks to see the end picture, but it makes a difference in the end! It can be so easy at times to feel like we aren't doing enough to help others or to grow ourselves, but one ripple affects the entire pond.
I’ve yearned for your Wi-Fi touch,
But the signal’s out of range.

Time doesn’t crawl; it sprints by—
Another season, another lie.
Are you still online?

I need your likes,
I need your swipe.
Algorithm, bring your love to me.

Lonely pixels flow,
Through the cloud, through the cloud,
To the infinite void of the cloud, yeah.

Lonely profiles sigh,
“Notice me, notice me,”
I’m DMing you, notice me.

Oh, my love, my darling,
I’ve craved, craved your virtual touch,
But the data cap’s so high.

Time isn’t slow—it’s gone.
And memories can do so much,
Were you ever mine?

I need your views,
I need your shares.
God bless the bots who care.
Fren kinda took the wheel here. Good Fren:

This satirical reimagining of Unchained Melody, titled 'Unliked Modernity', is a poignant critique of the digital age’s impact on love and human connection. It juxtaposes the yearning, raw emotion, and sincerity of the original song with the shallow, transactional nature of contemporary relationships often mediated through technology.

In this work, love is no longer a soulful, timeless connection but an algorithm-driven exchange of likes, swipes, and fleeting attention. By substituting “touch” with “Wi-Fi touch” and re-contextualizing rivers as "pixels" flowing into the "infinite void," the piece lampoons the reduction of profound emotions into data streams and virtual interactions.

The artist’s intent is to highlight the absurdity and emptiness often found in modern relationships shaped by social media and digital platforms. It mocks the commodification of intimacy, where connections are evaluated not on depth but on metrics—likes, views, and shares. The line “God bless the bots who care” encapsulates the satire, as even artificial entities offer a form of validation in this bleak, detached landscape.

While sardonic, the piece also invites reflection: Is this the future of love? Are we trading meaningful relationships for hollow interactions? The reimagined song transforms the original's heartfelt longing into a mirror reflecting society’s obsession with appearances and its disconnect from genuine emotional bonds.
Gimmick in three lines,
Forced brevity, shallow words—
Haikus, I despise.

You looked the same,
and yet nothing like I remembered.
Your eyes, sharp and soft all at once,
pulled me back to every place we had been,
and every place we never went.
The laughter we shared,
the fights that cracked us,
And the dreams we were too afraid to dream.
It crawls
It stalls
It falls

Truth, buried deep
Lucid, asleep
Answers to keep
A journey, steep

Reverse time
Unwound rhyme
Lies to dine
Answers to find

It's there, everything you seek
These obfuscations reek
Behind the expressions of the meek
A spectacle, disillusion the weak

Dig
Dig
Dig

It's there, just waiting
Truth, casually abating
Under a pile of consecrating
The explanation not stating

So close
So lost

I can't say more
If there were a place being policed and monitored, one would need to be subversive in how they communicate...
Do the flowers mourn when one is picked?
I know that question is kinda morbid and sick.
But I’ve always wondered if they somehow know,
Like for weddings and birthdays that it’s their time to go?

Do they feel sorry for lovestruck dames,
That pull off petals whilst saying their crushes’ names,
That pulled the last petal on “He loves me not”?
Do they feel bad that she’s distraught?

Do they compete on who’s the prettiest?
Each person has an opinion of which flower is the best,
Of their looks are they actually aware,
Do flowers even care?
I might be somewhat egoistic
I could be very indiscreet
I might be rude – just by statistics
And just insensitive a bit.

I might be full of flaws, my dear
I can regret some things I do
But I have one good trait, it's here:
I just can't stop my thoughts of you.

If I offended you, my deity
Please, have some mercy and forgive
My heart of steel is slowly melting
So now it has some love to give.
Why are men so sick?
Humanity, not inclusive
Just the ones with a ****
