Do you believe in love at first sight?

It's a concept that's often portrayed in movies and stories.

But maybe it's one of those things you have to experience

to truly understand what it is.


Let me tell you a story...

Oh **** it!
I ate a whole slice of cake,
how could I?

I'll never get to 90 lbs. this way...
When my parents go to bed,
it'll be another trip to the bathroom
to get rid of those ugly calories.

I'm never hungry anymore,
and I only eat one meal a day
(of course, only half...only fat people eat full meals)

I can already see all of my ribs,
I that's good right?
all the models look like that.

Maybe now I can fit in with the real crowd,
and I'll get a good guy.
All I have to do is get my stomach a little more flat,
lose those 3 more pounds.

Then I'll be perfect.

You burned a tattoo on my heart
that I used to be proud of wearing.


But people don't lie when they say removing a tattoo
is much more painful then getting the tattoo in the first place.

Turns out it was only a light bulb

It seems you have short-term memory loss.
when it comes to anything we said or did.

You tend to forget that you are the one that never cared,
and that I was the one that tried to save everything.

You tend to forget that I actually thought I loved you,

And people like me...or should I say, people in general,
don't forget someone or a time like that
as easily and something like you do.

Lost in a big quilt

hot mug of coffee in her hands

She stares into a cobwebbed corner

as if it holds the secrets of the world.

Everyone has been wondering about her

She's been like that for a long time

no one knows why, or how she is still alive

once that shadow of a body was strong and active

now she's wasting away under a big quilt in her room

and the coffee is getting cold.

"If she makes it though the night, she will survive," the doctor said.

I can hear her word faintly, in the sub-consiousness on my brain...

"When a heart breaks, it can cause the body to go into shock, and that can result in a coma, if the body can't handle it," the doctor tried to explain. "The risks are increased especally of the heart is still in recovery."

"Has she broken her heart before?" she asked.

"Not that we know of, she is always happy" comes the response.

The moon is full and bright.

For some reason, I can't keep my eyes off of it.

I guess I'm just hoping that where ever you are,

you're looking at it and thinking of me to.

I've told you how I've always wanted to watch a sunrise.
From the very beginning,
when the night sky is a dark navy,
instead of black at one corner of the horizon.
I've also told you how I've always been to scared to be out in the dark alone.
Well, I finally got my chance to watch my sunrise.
I wish you could have been there to see it.
It was everything I've told you it would be.
I just forgot the mention how lonely it would be without you.

It's amazing how fast the pathway

went from bursting with life,

to cold and crooked and blue,

to freezing and broken and black as the constant night.

Not long ago,
I thought maybe I could do something special in life
even if in a very small way.

But I forgot I'm not good at anything.

I can't sleep.

I used to think the problem was that I was too strong-minded

now I really realize the problem was that I didn't stand up to you

Everyone has taken their pictures of the sun set,
the sun is gone, and its not what people like on postcards
and to show off the friends anymore.

But as the tourists leave the beach in one big crowd,
they fail to notice the moon rising
large and bright behind them

I don't know why I keep coming back.

You never cared and never will.

You always had to win

you always had to show how smart you were

even when I was crying to you.

Other people have written parts of the story for me.

I'm done with trying to write it myself

as it is always met with remarks and disappointment, rejection.

Time to close the book.

If you have never been to a music festival,
you are missing out on a great life experience.

Beats are pumping through your blood,
and everyone is united from all backgrounds a places
to share a common love of music.

It's an event to let go and enjoy yourself to the fullest.
Many people have the happiest looks on their faces,
but one boy caught my attention.

I was one of the first one hundred people to arrive,
and he stood out, he looked nervous and unsure of why he was there.

We both ended up near the stage, and when the music started to play
and the thousands of people started to sing and dance along with all their hearts,
he just...let it all go.

I had never before seen a face of such pure joy,
and I knew that was a person I wanted to be with.
Thus began my wild story of love at first sight.

I want to be strong,
I know I am inside.
But your lack of words are stronger
and keep me coming back
with the hope there's something you want to say.

"She deserved to know,
we should stop doing that"

And yet, less then 5 minutes after you say its all good,
you continue the very thing that started it all.



That totally makes sense.

I don't know what's worse.

You openly insulting me

or ignoring me like I'm not there.

The water is so hot it burns,
but it still isn't burning away the sadness.

Melting away skin is not enough,
if only feelings could melt just as easily

But if that were true
I would never step out of the shower

No.....I can't even dare to hope.

Because it will always end in disappointment

and tears.

You are always rated to someone else.

No one cares any personal improvement.

If you don't win, you aren;t good enough.

Once I think I've got it right.
Fixed my past and moved on.

Turns out I should've been running.
The past is a world-class marathon runner.

“You need to read with brighter light! You’re going to have glasses by the time you’re 20! Is that what you want?”
Sorry, but I don’t care.

“Stop playing music so loud, you’re going to need hearing aids when you’re older!”
Do I care? Won’t almost everyone need hearing aids at a certain age?

“Don’t dance or sing in a store! Everyone will think you’re crazy!”
So? It’s not like anyone knows me or I care.

Didn’t you have fun when you were younger?
Didn’t you test the limits at all?

I live in the moment, and that’s how I will for the rest of my life.

Don’t you know?
Thinking about the future ruins the present.

So what if I'm not good enough for anyone

So what if I don't stand out from the rest

Every bit of air is spent on that one breath
to blow away a dandelion

Every seed scattered will come to rest and then grow
becoming a bright yellow flower that is a symbol of spring.

But do we let them all grow for wishes to be made?
No. The older people learned that dreams don't come true.

So they cut down the flowers before the children can make wishes
and so they can't hope that their wish, something held dear to their heart will become a reality.
