Got Guanxi
1,2,3,4

What do you 1, 2 be 3, 4
They 1, 2 be 3.
What 4.
Why do you 1 2.
I just want 2 be 3.

What do you want to be free for.
They want to be free.
What for?
Why do you want to?
I just want to be free.
It's a numbers game x

Sweet body of heaven's past
Has come calling for you
And although the paths seem straight
You know the wicked blue
You fire a bullet into the sun
Sending it over the moon

Tis the way, way, way
Of the ricochet

My lover once told me
To yourself always be true
And till now
I still believe in this
I promise you
But there are many days
That I have wasted yet
Because I'm afraid of the
What comes next
The endless ricochet

The sound shall bounce off the wall
Of a fair palace of old
Resounding throughout the land
Calling of ricochet

But one cannot forever
Forever live in the pain
Of not knowing the future
For thou hast come in vain
You have only so much
Time on the earth
So spend it to your best

So fire that bullet,
Cross your gun,
And prepare for ricochet!

No matter what reactions are
No matter what they say
Let your flag reign high
In the sky

Yes,
Aye, aye, aye, aye
Prepare for ricochet!
(Hey, hey!)

We'll pretend we hold the forest,
We'll stand regal like the pine,
We have tried to be good soldiers
Labouring under the sunshine.
And all the little notes will carry us,
Spare the bruises on our spine.

And what a thing to do forever.

Can you see the fire?
Can you hear its song?
Can you flicker in the secret breeze
Where the melodies belong?
And we, the voiceless,
Sang the loudest all along.

And what a thing to do forever.

Steal the canopies for shelter,
Weave the branches for a bed.
Lay your words upon the fallen leaves
Where they'll sleep once they've been said.
Read the stories of the quiet stars
In a deep blue overhead.

And what a thing to do forever.

I love to think about you all the time.
You and I doing things we shouldn't be.
We're such rebels in my head you know?
Always acting wild and free.

People diss us and shake their heads,
While we walk on past.
Once we get away from them all,
Oh my.
People would be scared of our passion for each other.

Sometimes you bruise me,
But not on purpose.
It's just 'cuz we're having so much fun.
Being so wild and ****.

But then,
You act like you don't remember me.
And go on forever without seeing me.

What's sad is that I wake up everyday,
Always with you on my mind.
A daydream about you.
And I'm never in your daydreams once.

Because.... well,
You don't even know I exist.

Smoke

All I can see is smoke
I can't see anything
It's raining hard
I can't see anything, I can just smoke.
My head is filled with smoke.
There's nothing I could possibly use in my head,
It's made up of bad thoughts and smoke.

There's so much smoke in my head
There's so much smoke to see.
There's too much of everything.

Smoke, smoke, smoke.
Smoke, that's all I can do,
Smoke.
Hoping that my problems will go away.
I guess smoke does take a great place in my head.
I'll keep on smoking, so it take it all up, so it takes up
My whole head, my whole mind.

Smoke, thoughts and failures, that's what I'm made of.                       -M.B.H.

Destre'
Pride, lust, gluttony, anger, greed, two three one, three five two
They go hand in hand, all alone shadows dance, dark figures
Three two one, now I've got them trapped
A small box, shut tight, holding them within
Three one two, let me be, an..
..unwanted memory left broken, missing pieces, unfinished
Four one five, let me be, I no longer want to be a part of this torn painting
mmm, so, maybe not necessarily in a completely different direction, at least in my head. Memories can be haunting.
The last word of every line is from the interesting, if not amazing, poem by JDK titled “blushing”
