Unexpected* but it’s true
The feeling’s old and yet so new
Swept away in just few lines
against all odds and all the signs

The morning glory unravels into blossoms in the early of the day
A real friend comes once in a lifetime and it’s destined to stay…
So how do you say goodbye to an eternal friend?
How do you say farewell  in the end?

I saw it coming, I heard the drumming
And felt the endless ache long before we got awake
It’s life itself that took us here
and that’s the one that will take us apart
but we could always come near
at least in our hearts

It’s not the same I know too well
But what else can be done, what else is to tell
The life is too short of a morning glory
and so is the life of this story

In order to survive I must say goodbye
long before it even ends
so goodbye my soul mate, farewell my friend!

I wish you all the best  in all your future quests
I wish you to be strong, it’s not us that are wrong

Then again life is too cruel to let go of a friend
and life is too hard to keep breaking my heart
So goodbye my friend until we meet again
on some other day, in another story
or until the new blossoms of our morning glory
