Mystery

Sam
Where does it go, when it leaves the mind of the beholder?
Travels away, a thought lost forever.
Floating in space, as though it were a lonely star.
A star's life is not eternal, they fade away.
They disappear from the night.
Leaving the southern sky,
just as the memory fades within you.
I wish people could read my mind...

Silver spooned hips curved into a harsh bite, Eve took a chunk out of her middle, one forbidden night. Empty promises of fruit forever bearing, shady trees and welcoming gates. Now she crumbles in this wasteland of frightful sights. Every month scarlet blood runs down her thighs in disgust they shame her for Eve's Lies.
God promised us a garden, and Eve devoured it whole. Now all I do is bleed, bleed, bleed.

Obsessions

I fear men in suits, with fresh apples for heads. Black and white profiles, bayside views. Falling in love when life is just one big satire. God's ink pen is running out, just like you...
Make me fall for you, than leave. Never found a writer quite like you. Never plan to. What a hell to go through.

You made me a ***** in your bed,
You made me a maid in your house,
You made me fall in love with your words,
While your actions left me helpless,
You made me fear commitment because love is a revolving door.
I've got more to write about you but I'm too exhausted

Throughout this soundtrack that I call my life,
       your heart is the beat,
          your voice is the lyrics,
your soul is the slow and steady rhythm,
             your kisses are the chorus
and your face is the album art.
Without you,
I would never hear music the same again.

you're my favorite poem

but then

but then

you meet someone who understands you
you don't even have to try to convey your thoughts with words
because he already gets it
he already could feel the lightning in your chest
and the shadows that creep in the depths of your mind
without having to try

the little sparks you feel in your soul when he speaks
like a calm whisper
a soft breeze
a gentle touch on my skin

how easily he could unravel me without even trying
how easily my walls come crashing down when i'm around him

a growing flame inside my chest
giving light to this darkness

a warmth i didn't think i could feel again
that not even my doubtful heart could resist to believe in

how easily he could devour me in the most beautiful way
how easily he could reach inside the depths of my soul
when i had thought that nobody, not even the rain, could have done so
I don't know what the future holds for us but I am so grateful to know you, even if it is just for a moment

Sleep

ren
He's an ocean.
He gathers my worried thoughts and tosses them to the breeze;
He carries me through bumpy waves and tempest seas.
When he's near, my insides throw themselves against my skin,
Just to be closer to him,
Just to be closer to him.
And none of it is tragic,
Because when I'm with him my heart beats steady in my chest,
And none of it is sin,
For when my organs need rest,
He lulls me to sleep again.
