Like the fabulous shooting star in the brightness of the night
Over the beaming moonlight and sparkling twinkling stars
Viewing this enchanting spirits gathering together
Enlightening your path and revealing your faith ...
May Allah bless us and protect us by His everlasting mercy and blossom our hearts with His purest love ♡

Ayaba Babe
the heart aches
like
earthquakes.

today
i allowed myself to feel
heartbreak
one very last time for you.

the sun was settling,
silhouetting the city

it felt like
the burial site of massacred dreams.

If I could stop a person from crying,
Or a friend from dying,
I would have gained a million dollars.

If I could stop a soul from aching,
Or a spirit from breaking,
I would have gained a million dollars.

If I could help a person the good Word hearing,
Or keep a heart from bleeding,
I would have gained a millon dollars.

Inspired by a poem an old fashioned poetess or poet wrote. I admit I felt sad while gazing at our cat's (Lady Jane's) babies. . . I can't bear the thought of saying "goodbye" to anymore cats even though they will be going to a Humane Society and hopefully good homes afterwards. ~</3
I can see the vivid flashbacks from past times
The person I was meant to be left somewhere behind
The worldly winds of heartbreak and defeat have tossed me here
In this place I can't escape because of fear
If I could kick my heels thrice and maybe rewind
Go back past the hurt to a more simple happy time
Yet the present is what I have and the future neither promised nor imagined
The past just a long ago beauty like the retired queens of pageants
Still I pray everyday that this mindset is just a phase
Counting on recapturing that childlike spirit from the hands of yesterday
The Poet Is An Ordinary Person,
One That Uses Coupons,
Does Loads Of Laundry,
And Scrubs The Dishes,
The Poet Lives In The Body Of Another,
Who Lives Life Through Poetry,
To Understand A World Such As This,
To See The Beauty Everywhere They Go,
The Poet Uses Poetry To Express Love,
To Pour A Glass Of Nectuar From Their Sweet Souls,
To Give A Kiss Of Vocabulary To The World,

Loaves of bread to bake,
House cats to feed,
Never enough time.

Books to read,
And novels to write,
There's never enough time.

A daughter with the flu,
To help heal,
There's never too much time.

Meals to cook,
And my family to feed,
There's never enough time.

The time when all the flowers ballet
And when the lotus waltzes across the river
And the moon looks down with his pleasant smile
And the Fairies sing their lullabies
To hush to sleep the whole wide world

Tallulah
Rain kisses the pavement
Cigarette burnt fingertips
Your warmth is god sent
I taste the salt on your lips

Black umbrellas line the streets
Clam chowder and baguette air
Like a child tucked beneath crisp sheets
Adoration the only stitch I wear

Pacific Ocean’s salt
Rain soaked cheeks
Coy, loving, exalted
We could’ve survived like this for weeks

My brother and I fought
And I wasn’t at wrong
Or so I thought
Years ago this happened
And it’s been awkward for too long
It may not seem such a big deal
But it was resentment I’d feel
Whenever we attempted to get along
It wasn’t too long ago though
I was like eighteen or so
When…
We had a fist fight as grown men
I realize now that I always thought
He was selfish, and that was why we always fought
But the truth is… I’ve been selfish too
Thinking I was holier than thou
I want my brother back
I want my brother back right now
I’ve been okay, I’ve been doing good
On a solo mission, but I misunderstood...
The meaning of life
It’s not about strife
After growing up together, we grew apart… how?
I want my brother back
I want my brother back right now
We both know he was wrong
To do what he did
But that was years ago
By now, both of us should have let it go
The funny thing is
He still has my back
He is always there when I need him
I used to think it was guilt
Now I realize it has more to do with the relationship we’d built
Growing up side by side
The days when for him I was always ready to ride
To stand up against anyone that tried… to hurt him
He was my brother, flesh and blood
My brother, my blood
As I write this I've grown a little now
So, I have to get my brother back
I have to get him back right now.
Sometimes we realize that it's not worth holding on to a grudge... no matter how justified we may feel about it. We've had our issues, but I can't pretend he wasn't my big brother for all those years.
