What can I say
that she's not heard before
so many voices are calling

Where can I find
every poetic word
so in my arms she'll be falling

How can I stand out
a face in the crowd
from all the others now showing

Coerce her eyes
till she sees no one else
gazes my way now are flowing

When will it be
till I'm all that she wants
another her heart, won't be stealing

What can I say
that she's not heard before,
so she will know how I'm feeling

When the world gives you a choice.
The easy way,
Or love.
Choose love.
Always choose love.
There's something beautiful in the way a rose blooms through concrete.
There's something beautiful about the light surrounded by so much darkness.
You wouldn't know how to smile if you were happy all the time.
So love,
And lose,
And fall,
And cry.
And love,
And win,
And rise,
And smile.

Life is a knife in a gun fight,
But God at least you're fighting with something.

Love is like flying.
You could fall at any moment.
But the clouds are so beautiful up here.

i'm so tired
but a tired that sleep cannot fix

i wish i could sleep all day and all night
so i wouldn't have to think

but i've been having nightmares.

i'm doing everything at once and yet nothing at all

"tell me if something is keeping you
from being the best student you can be"

how about i don't

because your mind isn't considered a disease

especially if you're an honors kid.

Have you ever felt caught in a trap,
unable to escape,
yet somehow you rest easy,
for this has always been your fate?

Red and white yin-yang,
Angels and Demons pass by,
Highway median.

Smile at the world,
See what doesn't happen,
The moon is so sharp
And indifferent in the sky,
The lovers sink as they try
Never knowing each fall
Of smile as they eye.

Smile in the overgrowths,
The wastelands of the mind,
Touch the ghosts at meetings,
They will shock you raw,
White as the moon rages
And the sun, cold burning
Each day as it brands you.

Let go, let your face rest,
There are no smiles real
As you dream them to be,
Let your life be limp as death,
See the waters as they climb,
Up from the muddy tomb,
So few can feel rising.

Some memories I give her
to drown in dark water,

like an old revolver
thrown into a river,

nights spent drinking
the moon under a table

made of maple and fables
we once believed true

love lost, found
and lost again together

where only the mountains
and seas last forever.
When I call and you're too busy at work too answer

I just write a few lines and a couple rhymes
Just to pass the time
Cause you're always in my heart
And no matter how far apart
I know you'll forever be mine

That makes everything worthwhile
we see the gold’s of a shimmering
sun fall on the horizon, the last of
day, leaving trails of hummingbirds.

the sky begins to mourn the last
of light, scattering breeze-like
in a cloud of dark ink.

the moon pours pearls into cloud
widens her eyes; the dark gathers
the pearls, softening like dream.

thick honeysuckle traces the
walls, the immense night
sings of love in a gentle voice

and as the tide sweeps clean the
wandering sands, beautiful and
infinite the last star falls.
