though, so incredibly hard to say,
i think i killed myself today.

no, it wasn't the gun i thought it would be,
and it wasn't the pills i bought to be free.

it wasn't the candles or the gasoline,
it wasn't the running into a limousine.

i think it was me in my bed so late,
unwilling to behold my fate.

my eyes slipped shut and they haven't opened yet.
but that would be lucky, and i'm alive, i bet.

just wait until tomorrow, maybe we'll see
what i can really do to me.
i think i give up.
I can't comprehend death. I couldn't comprehend death even when death date questions had a answer. I couldn't comprehend death even when the signs are flashing like the last numbers on a shot clock expiring. I couldn't comprehend death even when it was in my mailbox. Like I had the option to accept it. Like I had the option to return it. I wish death was like a letter that I could tell the mailman wrong city, wrong address, wrong recipient. Just wrong. I wish death didn't have a spam folder. Collecting names of people I didn't know until it's gets a name marked as important in my email of life. Death feels like a penaltys not called, like how dare you resume life without everyone in the room, how dare you eat food without saying grace. Death feels like a slap from a friend. Never expected, unguarded, not protected, and reality never the same. I wish death died. I wish death was like a Timmy Turner episode, like at the end if the episode everything will go back to normal. Instead death likes to play deception. Likes to replace the old with the new and tell you nothing has changed. Like my McDonald's down the street always had a kiosk. Like gas prices has always been 3 dollars. Like aunt vib was always light skin. I wish i never have to wait for the next backstabber, the next email, the next letter. I wish death was dead.

Like fragments of a shattered broken heart
I've lost my way, and I am falling apart
Yet somehow in this strange unerving mystery
I've found myself at the shores of an endless sea

Running through my dreams afraid of turning
Unwilling to let go of my fragile past
I push myself to the point of breaking
It seems that I not nearly way to fast

I hold myself at night with these tears streaming
I struggle to get past as the dark nights fly by
Unable to face this cruel trick called reality
But i'll keep trying till I reach the clear blue sky

I wish to be held like any other
I wish to be freed from this chained down cage inside
I wish to escape from this never ending scene
But the fates keep telling me I'm far to naive

Standing on the dreaded battlefields
Bullets littering without a moment to lose
Wounded but alive, unlike the rest who died
Though I'll always be haunted by their memory

Crimson red dripping down gently
dying the petals that are scattered down
I'll raise my gun, I'll fire another round
Until the blood in my veins finally run dry

I claim I'm doing it for my friends
To protect the life I live
Are they standing by my side
With all their heads held high

They are hidden down below
As soon as the whistle blows
And I'm forced to march on
To continue this fight

You can't trust anybody but yourself
Thats the way I've been born and raised
At times I forget, get swayed and carried away
But it won't be long before I snap out of that haze

So to the dear world please forgive me
To the people I call my friends too
I cant trust a single soul in this hell
From the beginning I always knew.
I am tried of the worrying thoughts.
My mind moves so fast my lungs
Can't keep up.

My mind moves from thought to thought.
Playing the past over and over in my head.

Trying so hard not mess everything up.
Anxiety is like a breath that's stuck in
Your throat taking the life out of you.

She'll be okay once she cries it out
Like pushing your fingers down your throat
She just needs to let it all out then she'll feel better

She'll be okay, she's a really good liar
Her parents can't even tell
Sometimes even she doesn't know the truth herself

She'll be okay when they leave
She doesn't even like staying herself
She'll probably leave first before everyone else

Don't worry, she'll be okay on her own
You know she's very strong
She's been doing this on her own for very long
i let you tore me
a p a r t
splitting and turning me into
c r o s s r o a d s
and i thought you'd be with me
w h e r e v e r
but instead of walking on roads
you chose to
f l y.

How can you be thankful with depression?
Constant combat with melancholy and mustering gratitude is regression
I eat,
Like a God forsaken heathen
Filling up the void where the darkness starts to creep in
I drink,
The devil's elixir lights my soul up
So when I'm feeling nothing I feel passion and I hold up
I smoke,
Burn your lungs enjoy your eminent demise
My brain is in revolt so this rabel has to fry
I read,
Words that scream from bindings
In hopes that I can build some peace of mind with my findings
I write
Because you probably feel it too
And when your afflictions grip I hope that it could see you through

Step by step
As I descended
Despite the ache in my bones
And the weakness of my heart
I thought of all the things I could have said
And all you could have done.

You were everything to me,
Everything I wanted to come home to
Everything I never wanted to leave.
And it is a strange feeling
Watching something never quite real fade away
Step by step.
