Victoria May 2021
I've been training so hard
to walk in these shoes
They look good
They look nice
But they got no clue
That they are a little too big
a little too wide
I can walk in them
But the shoes aren't right

But as long as I can walk
I must go on
How many people have shoes to choose from?

I must not complain the tiniest bit
about wearing shoes that doesn't fit
I'm just scared rightf I'm ready to grow up and its scary but I have to.

Sleepless nights
Victoria Jan 2019
Turning around
Throwing pillows
Heart is beating
Harder than hiccups
The clock is grinning
Laughing in "tick tock"
I'm waiting for a train that will never stop.
It recently took me 5 hours to fall asleep.

Sick of fine sand
Victoria Jun 2018
My body feels like bricks
Heavy, they give in
I try to get up
But it's so comfy, it's like a sin

Leave me
Let me be
Turn me into a pile of stones
Not the fine kind of sand
But the ones that fill the ocean and land

Right now silence is comfort
It's both peaceful and nice
Let me be a pile of bricks
Travel to my paradise
Alone time matters too

The fluffy friend <3
Victoria May 2018
I will buy a dog!
Yes a fluffy friend alive
Even though he sees the world in black and white
He will give more love than I could ever try
You are his master in his big doggie eyes
But in reality it's just lies

Why lies you say?
Because I am no hero
I'm just a human that loves dogs and has time
He don't see the world I see.
His world has no crime.

Man I want this fluffy friend
Until I get money
This dream won't end
I honestly just want a dog

I am tired
Victoria May 2018
Lack of time suffocates me
No amount of coffee is enough
Will I breathe again even when time stops?
Great responsibility often mean money
But is the money worth the suffocation?
Even when I should sleep
I find it hard to breathe
Suffocation follows me
And he won't leave
My first poem on this site. Hello everyone!
