Your invigorating scent, still fills the air,
Beneath my white satiny sheets,
When the morning breeze,
Escapes into my bedroom window,
And it simply feels like a retreat.

And I was overcome by nostalgia,
When you closely laid behind me,
Listening to the pleasant ocean waves,
Taking us to a blissful journey,
Far into the sea.

As you gently held my waist,
With your chest against my spine, unwilling to part,
Slightly breathing behind my neck,
And today, I heavenly drifted away,
In place and time, when you faithfully stole my heart.
In a Forest
We can See all the
Trees as One
when the
Leaves are Green

When Leaves start to
Turn and Fall
We become able to
Clearly See the
Unique Character
of each and every
Tree

Much the same thing
could be said of
People.

Such is the
**Truth of Nature
written from inspiration from my Mom
A marshmallow slowly roasted over a campfire
Some chocolate oozing down my face
some gram crackers  crunching under my teeth
I can't always make smores but I can have some more
I want some more kindness to put a smile on my face
I want to express that kindness to others around me
I want some more quality time with family
I want some more good friends to surround me
I want to be a great friend in return
I want some more compassion to ground me
I want more passion when I write even if it keeps me at night
I want the sight to find the beauty around me and you
Do you want smores too?
Do you want some more in life?
I hope this is a Treat 4 U, My friends
Like and repost if you like or think you would like Smores
Have a Great Day!
a balmy sweet day
the company of palms
caught the rays
with a
sway

blue hues
sliced evenly
through the green fan

Bahama breezes
brought blooming
bitd of paradise
dreams

dreams of footprints
on wet shore

DREAMS

of loving passion
forlorn

~~~ but ~~~
a little more time
a little more time
breezes sigh
pick up
become
WIND
sea begins to chop
sands to sing
air soughs through
the fronds of the
satin spikes
and the entire tree
begins to
SWAY
a dance awed
by forest nymphs
so potent and
courageous
~ yet ~
delicate and fragile
the spiked heads
of the palms
show a
frenzied nod
then a
shake
then they
/// BOW \\
clouds glower
on the
horizontal lines
the joins of
sea and sky
rain begins to beat
tattoos
in the sands
the congregation of palms
are now bending low
touching their
foreheads
to the
singing beaches
like the devout
in a
mosque
they
bend
like reeds
but have a root
that touches the
inner sanctuary
of the
((( €ARTH )))
nothing will uproot
them from
her
(((♥HEART♥)))
with eyes closed
they go back
to being
TALL
and
PROUD
with teeth clutched
they know even
~ this ~
soon
will
>>> PASS <<<
The palm tree is one of the
Mightiest plants on earth
Where an oak would break
The palm bends
It can be laid flat on the ground
By a hurricane
But will stand right back up
When it has passed
So must we
E N D U R E
This is the second time I have
Had the good fortune to
Work with Dajena
She's marvelous!
You wonder
why I wiggle
so much
why my legs
bounce,
and my hands
twitch.
Truth is,
my mind
can't slow down
It doesn't know
how to take a day off,
its far too good
at tormenting me
more and more
with each
passing second.
The clouds are set
In a cloud kingdom tapestry
A glorious backdrop upon
the pink orangish sky
The sun has begun setting
After the rain clouds
began departing
to leave us with
a pink orangish sky
My dreams are set upon
The skies above me
Wrapped up in the beauty of
a pink orangish sky
It appears to me as a curtain
and my eyes are certain
that the night skies are bowing
to the pink orangish sky
I hold my hopes
in the heavenly spaces
As I keep pushing forward
below the pink orangish sky
It really delights me
It really excites me
to write an ode
to a pink orangish sky
Can you hear my song
In this humble piece of poetry?
It all came from my view
of a pink orangish sky
a band of pink clouds
settled in the western skies
late yesterday eve
late last evening
dust pink hues decorated
the vast Northern skies
