the sea breathes out
we breathe in
all the while the Sun
watches
we creep along the shore
build dwellings
from sand
while the tide a lazy wash
in and out tumbles
we do not move that far
from our shells
meeting in a century
then gone
back to the sea.

Lately I've had a weird heart beat
The doctors are concerned
I tell them to take it easy
This is normal
My heart will naturally skip a beat
When I am thinking of you

when all i see is my darkness
pitch black and uninviting,
you see shining stars,
and moon-lit clouds with
silver linings.
