Storm
TTagain Jul 2021
My words are merciless,
Over time they get so much energy
They gather up and like a wave
And fiercely run over the ocean
They swell up from the welled up anger
Nobody could be saved from this monstrous motion
These glutinous tides hold the power
To destroy everyone in their wrath

But all they do is crash against the rocks

There were things I kept in my heart
Buried deep within their graves
They were meant only to be whispered
Now in this storm of life I have to shout them out
I can’t keep quiet anymore
Can’t act artificial and leave doubts
Keep the secrets locked in the store
Call me a billion of things but know,

All I ever am is an unorthodox

Fuel
TTagain Jun 2021
Sometimes I get tired of listening
To you and your friends
Your antiquated ideas
I want to speak my mind
But I love you too much
I fear losing you
I fear your hatred
But your ******* is my fuel
You make me angry
And I turn that into my poetry

I wish I could stop you
And many others like you
So filled with loathing
For people who don’t live the way you do
So eager to carve their lives
So they could fit your view
I wish I could walk off
As soon as you open your mouth
But hate is another form of love
Another form of obsession
Keeping me glued to your side

But I will never comply, abide by
the nonsense rules
the path all the privileged ones like you
want us to go to
all it ever takes is empathy
something so unknown to you
Happy Pride Month, say no to Homophobia.

California (Lana Del Rey)
TTagain May 2021
You don't ever have to
Be stronger than you really are
When you're lying in my arms, baby
You don't ever have to
Go faster than your fastest pace
Or faster than my fastest cars

I shouldn't have done it but I read it in your letter
You said to a friend that you wish you were doin' better
I wanted to reach out, but I never said a thing
I shouldn't have done it but I read it in your letter
You said to a friend that you wish you were doin' better
I wanted to call you, but I didn't say a thing

You don't ever have to
Be stronger than you really are
When you're lyin' in my arms, and, honey
You don't ever have to
Act cooler than you think you should
You're brighter than the brightest stars

I'll pick you up
If you come back to America
Just hit me up
'Cause this is crazy love
I'll catch you on the flipside
If you come back to California
You should just hit me up

We'll do whatever you want, travel wherever how far
We'll hit up all the old places
We'll have a party
We'll dance 'til dawn
I'll pick up all of your folks and all of your Rolling Stones
Your favorite liquor off the top-shelf
I'll throw a party
All night long

-------Lana Del Rey
This is one of my favorite songs. Since I'm going through certain emotions and time where I can relate to this song, I thought maybe I can share it with you guys.

The lyrics are bit altered here

Gentle
TTagain May 2021
Hold me gently
It might be the last thing
You'll ever do to me
I'm too used to this
"I Love You"
She told me gently
It was the last thing
She ever did to me

Strength
TTagain May 2021
I'm not even strong enough
To tell myself
How weak I am
