I'm that skinny girl at the front,
The one with the glasses and braces,
I'm the one with the pimpled skin,
The one who's colour is like a wooden chair,

I live in the shadows,
I get lost in the stories,
I'm never noticed,
Till my calling comes...

The one who has never seen,
The one who sits beside,
The one with the perfect body,
And the perfect skin,
The one who has no flaw,

Well I may be dark and weird,
I may have some flaws,
But see the other in battle,
She'll fall down like a paw,

For I shall stay and win,
The one who was never noticed,
One day will come where everyone shall know my name,
Not by fear, but on purpose,

I shall live like a lotus on water,
Floating gently along the waves,
But when my calling comes,
I shall be the bravest of the brave.

I am a fruit tree
In the midst of conifers
I don't belong here
Writing haikus is fun. all's you have to do is pick a topic then use the 575 rule and youre done!

She took my corpse soul
Bone dry and empty inside
Blood soaked scythe
That painted the night sky
With hopes for an ending
Soul spending in spinning
Atomic energy on the demon in me
She rose to see my flesh form
Finally feel and bleed
From the deeper need
I was regenerated and reinvigorated
Just in time to cross loves line
And have her turn loves laughter
Into lover’s lament

The clock glows a dim green,
gently reminding me that the sun will be up soon.
I sigh,
and continue to type meaningless words on a page that doesn't exist.
The bus rolled over gray highway
As rain fell from the gray sky
I remembered that it was wednesday
as I watched lights pass by

Strangers sitting in silence
Going home this gray afternoon
Blank faces masked by pretence
Listening to the bus´es familiar tune

An old lady staring straight ahead
A proud and polished display
Was in mourning because her husband was dead
and her children had all moved away

A young man by the door
Reading a paper calm and at ease
Felt like he wasn't loved anymore
and could not find meaning or peace

A young lady with a child on her lap
Was smiling down at his innocent face
She was running from her violent chap
To start over in a safer place

Behind me two young boys sat
Whispering rumors untrue
They didn't have a bed or a flat
and were afraid someone at school knew

The busdriver made another turn
Thinking about his spouse
Depths were higher than the money he earned
and he feared they'd lose their house

A man in a suit that was new and attractive
With a briefcase by his side
Had just found out he didn't have long to live
and preparing to say goodbye

Some strangers left on the next stop
and new worn souls sat down
We passed the bank and the grocery shop
and soon we were in my part of town

The bus rolled over gray highway
As rain fell from the gray sky
I remembered that it was wednesday
as I watched people pass by

your lips feel like the softest press of silk against a warm untouched body
longing of affection
i see only my reflection of whom I long to be    when i am with you
my flesh fills crimson
i know which moment is fleeting, the desperation for more

sadly i will only remember the altered perception of my only recollection
with you.

Love
Is like a rollercoaster
Spotlight shines hot like a toaster
Ups and Downs
Overs and Arounds
Heartbreaks and Heartaches
You always find a way through your mistakes

The moments
Between spaces
Between dreaming and awake
Between the drops of torrential rain
Between my head on your chest and your kiss to the top of my head
Its those overlooked moments
Those minuscule seconds
When silence is complete
Comfort is all encompassing
And sweet content is everything
It's then that I will always love you
