I hope you enjoy
My heart served on that platter
Take a slice or a few
It doesn’t matter
Add a topping, maybe two
Do what you need to do
I don’t mind
As long as you don't
Leave any crumbs behind

My love is sour, it isn’t sweet;
It walks along on its own two feet;
At times it might seem far away
Maybe you were a **** that day

My love is quiet but never shy;
It won’t idly watch the world go by;
At times it might seem overbearing,
Yet who among us lives unerring

My love is fierce, it won't withdraw;
It fights with word, tooth and claw;
At times it might seem bellicose,
But it’s too late, you already chose

My love is flawed but it is true;
It filled its scars with golden glue;
At times it might seem too unsightly,
But love should not be taken lightly

let’s run for the woods—
write each other
love letters on the fallen bark,

take a dip in the lake,
walls of pine trees around us,
fish nipping at our toes.

we’ll nap in a field of moss—
ferns tickling our legs and
kissing under the canopy...

and someday we’ll go home
to the warm cave with a fire
and watch the sparks float like fireflies,

someday.
idk imagery and yeah i’m kinda in love smh

Wearing masks
Telling lies
Evil basks
Ignoring cries

Insatiable greed
Power struggles
Tensions breed
Kindness juggles

Voices raise
Anger rises
Compassion malaise
Divided compromises

Blinded gaze
Humanity lost
Apathetic ways
Human cost
