The other day
A match struck my roughness
And anxiousness took me to be freed by fire
As I burned away all of your rusted memories
Which'd been stored for yet another day
Which turned out to be today
In ashes your words
Cast, burn and floating away
Just a song about old letters

Finally burned all of my own the other day

So I'll take the perfect love that chases every shadow from each surface
Even if it takes a lifetime, in You I will learn to hide
In that perfect love that casts away the serpent's voice, it has no place and even if it takes a lifetime, in You I will learn to fight
In that perfect love that bears all things, believes all things, endures all things and even if it takes a lifetime, the scales will fall from my eyes.

She has never built sandcastles.
She has never toed the surf along the Gulf of Mexico.
She's only ever known these mountains;
these cold, granite monuments to impassibility
that reduce the sky to slits,
somehow managing to make the heavens smaller.

Half closed eyelids with their own trap-door gravity.

Short lives last eternities too
and there is beauty to be had
- even here -
It's just that everyone should get to build sandcastles sometimes.

There are some things you will never know
Unless some things you learn to let go

And some things that you'll never find
Unless you take the chance of life

How will you know if you can swim
If you never try and dive right in

Or find you're not afraid of heights
If the mountain you never climb

How will you ever learn to fly
If you never reach out for the sky

And how will you ever know of love
If you first don't give some things up

How will you ever know this life
If you don't give it a try

And how will you know the pleasure of it
If before you start you've already quit

Framing a quaint perspective
Pertaining metaphorical abased character
Shoulders of ridiculous initiatives
******* the pleasure of the sweetest nectar
Evaluating by rough deformities
Framing a quaint perspective
With dignity of formalities and amenities
Portraying ****** sketches of victims
Sufferer in the mouth of cannon
Soul in deep dark abaddon...
Don't know why people interfere in other's lives...and hadn't expected such an act by higher authorities...
