You told me once, life isn't aimless
We are all aimed directly at death

Where do they all go
the unspoken words
Do they melt, into nothingness
burning in the backs of our throats
Or delve into the blue deepness of our thoughts
a sunken treasure
I think they hitch rides
with the hopeless
and the heartbroken
Sitting heavy on shoulders

And I'm walking with the weight of the world

the summer sings its
orisons, prays like a
priest,

star petals melt,
flowers blossom
and die,

i’m all at sea,
glazed by the sun -
a high note of yellow
in an angelic and
gorgeous sky.

tonight i can't write poetry,
a star is just a star.

don’t tell me to keep my head up when you’re the one who forced it underwater.

You’ve helped me learn to be alone.

This place is in my mind and in my head
This place is killing me from the inside
