Was she painting the white roses red
Or the red roses white
Crimson speckled
Flowers
The red queen screams
Of with his head
And I finally realize
The parts that are red
Are the splatter art
Of the dead
Desperately clawing
like a wild creature
Drawn to each and every
perfect feature

She is all and everything
Make no mistake
I will pour myself dry
more than likely self forsake
Alive Once**

Sitting here staring out the window,
wind blowing the tree’s around
and shaking loose some remembrances
of Spring days,
red hair
and the secret stream
hidden behind your dad’s land.
We used to sit there
under the oak,
tell each other secrets,
our youthful, wide eyed dreams.
~~~
Funny, in a way,
this memory of you-
it was one of the few times
I can say
I was happy, carefree
and wanted to be alive.
thanks for reading... the music link is Diana Ross, "Love Hangover"
This was a song we loved together and I just couldn't leave it out of the poem.  See I still do write you poetry.
We are born with a song in our heart.
One unique song, the world needs to hear.
No one else knows the lyrics, only YOU.
Fear begins to silence our song.
Ignore fear, do not be shy, do not ask why ...
*... Just fly!
There is a fine line between heaven and hell
The line is so blurred I can no longer tell
Much like the angels,from grace one third fell
A fortune as such is perplexing,oh well
The sorrows black hole as love turns to hate
Scrambling frantically emotions negate
Lift up the heart for the wish to elate
It clearly takes two of pure love to equate
Men will come a dime by the dozen
But you in my life
You're not one of them
No, you're more
I don't know how much more but yes
More to me than you could ever see.
Ever know
And I want you back, I need my friend my lover back into my life
Don't deny it, I think you want the same
You can't help but put your fingers to the keys and respond to my words
You can't help but talk of future after we're done sweating out the nights alcohol
I told you once, I don't forget
I remember the words you say
I remember the games you try to play
I won't let you forget
I'll keep after you until you jump the ship
You'll have to delete me from every part of your life
I don't think you can
I think my blood is now on your hands, in your veins
That's where I am, that's where I'll stay
You can't outrun me even if you tried
But that ok
Because men come a dozen to the dime
#jump #ship #dozen #dime #in your veins #goodbye
