Teacher's Day Special
Prachi Sep 2020
Someone asked me,
Who is a teacher?
A pathway to degree?
Or holds a position deeper!

‘Union of multiple roles’, I said,
Is a teacher’s true identity;
One who enlightens the road ahead,
Assisting selflessly which is a rarity.

Playing a huge role in our upbringing,
And giving us a constant support;
Teachers were there motivating,
In the times we felt lost.

They teach us the art of life;
Losing sleep for other’s child,
New and innovative ways they devise;
It is incomparable what they provide.

The ones who are always well-wishing
Steering to right path and escorting;
They instill a passion for learning,
Student’s success is their earning.
Respect for all the teachers inspiring and supporting students.

Believe In Magic
Prachi Sep 2020
The things termed as coincidence,
Are nothing but magic incidents;
It is what you believe,
That you can live.

Believe and you will find it,
Trust and you will get it;
Who to trust troubles you?
It is no one else but you.

You yourself are magic,
Let things be enigmatic;
Just count on yourself,
Miracle will unleash itself.
The energy of beliefs is powerful.

Self-Confidence
Prachi Sep 2020
A virtue that makes you glow,
Giving you the spirit to explore,
It is the one that helps you grow.

A realization of being capable;
A silent attitude hitting louder when
Self-doubt ceases to be operational.

Being right always is not what you need,
It’s time to let go of the fear of being wrong;
Soon you will breed confidence indeed.

When it comes to thinking about self,
You won’t go on the wrong track;
It is not that simple to deceit oneself.

Embrace the beautiful mess you are,
Cut off the insecurities and,
Your success will have no bar.

Life
Prachi Sep 2020
Life is all about change;
We grow by the process
Of problem exchange.

Overcoming a phase,
Brings us to the next;
Excellence is what we chase.

Memories
Prachi Aug 2020
Let’s take a ride
With photos as our guide

Not that they are enough
But they bring out all the stuff

Those collection of instances
Those endearing reminiscences

Each picture tells a tale
Dragging us on its trail

More than anything else
It subjects your inner self

You contemplate with a new perspective
And gradually become introspective

Those memories caress you
When you are lost and feeling blue

The journey ends up to meet yourself
Getting the push to move forward oneself.

Animal Abuse
Prachi Oct 2020
What can be bigger a crime,
Than abusing someone;
Who has a heart as you have,
Who is as much alive as you;

Their inability to express,
Through words doesn’t give
You the rights to harass them;
Let alone taking undue advantage.

True utilization of your voice
Would be to speak for those who can’t,
And do not forget that you are
Nothing but a social animal yourself.

Broken Friendship
Prachi Sep 2020
It is a feeling that hurts,
More than a heartbreak;
Impermanence it asserts.

The connection never ceased;
As the plant that has dried now,
Its seed was pure love.

Fragile as its leaves were,
It carried a bond impermeable;
Hence still seems near.

Forgiveness is the glue,
To fill in the cracks;
As the purpose is to renew.
To the most treasured bond in the world.

Smile
Prachi Sep 2020
A universal language to express,
Its potential is underestimated;
It is a treasure that you possess.

The sign of your strength,
Smile is the prettiest thing to wear;
Spreading happiness at length.

Inexpensive as it is to have,
It gives a glorious flair;
Go on and make it flash.

It is a key that fits well,
In the lock of other’s hearts;
Helping the relations propel.

Without words it says a lot;
It is the light of your soul,
Enlightening any dark spot.

A charming gift to give,
Smile is a two-way thing;
Make it the source of your bliss.

This too shall pass
Prachi Sep 2020
Earphones on,
Music off;
Thoughts are loud,
And the heart cries out.

The mind is very busy,
It is not that easy;
The issue may be petty,
Or one with the enormity.

This too shall pass,
You are gold, not glass;
Trying times will make you glow,
Love yourself and go with the flow.

Survivor is not the one,
Bearing all the pain in the heart;
But the one who knew,
When to let go and grow.
To anyone who needs to hear this, you are a survivor and you will succeed.
