This is the year of the strong woman
As you are well deserved of such honor;
Your strength is mighty uncommon,
Motivating future generations asunder.

Your time is now…

This is the year of the beauty in you,
You have persevered all trying times;
You let no one discredit your value,
And nothing stultifies you and your shine.

The hour is yours…

2014, the year of Strong Women
Around the world, everyday, all day;
Congratulations to the women!
 You deserve to have it your way.

This is the year of your utmost praise
For being such a blessing to us men;
Working or/and with children to raise,
Or studying hard, you are independent.

Your time has come…

This is the year and forever after,
We take time to observe your worth;
The sacrifice you make for rapture,
Amazing how you can give us birth.

The hour has arrive…

2014, the year of Strong Women
Around the world, everyday, all day;
Congratulations to the women!
 You deserve to have it your way

Hay algo en esta iglesia,
El aire parece ser más fino,
Lo único que puedo hacer es alabarte:
Ay, Señor, ¿qué más hago para ti?

Dime...

¿Cómo elevar tu precioso nombre?
Porque anhelo adorarte
Creo que fingí una vez demasiados
Ahora el Espíritu Santo me ha tocado.

Hay algo en esta iglesia,
El aire parece ser más fino,
Lo único que puedo hacer es alabarte;
Ay, Señor, ¿qué más hago para ti?

Dime...

Hay algo en este lugar,
Tan fuerte que no lo puedo luchar,
Sólo quiero verte ahora mismo,
Mi corazón baila porque estoy listo.

Este sentimiento que tengo es tan libre,
Ya no soy imprudente como un belitre;
Las Palmas de mis manos hierven con fe,
Fe en ti, Señor y todo por lo que moriste.

Hay algo en esta iglesia,
El aire parece ser más fino,
Lo único que puedo hacer es alabarte;
Ay, Señor, ¿qué más hago para ti?

Dime...

Lo único que puedo hacer es alabarte;
Puedo alabarte,
Puedo alabarte,
¿Qué más hago para ti?

Hay algo en esta iglesia,
Hay algo en esta iglesia...

I should have known it was starring in a movie,
When they said that writers also get groupies;
As these women continue to swarm by the flock,
I get rid of some, more come to me nonstop,
But you knew before I was even deeded such,
You saw potential in me when did not see much.

If you only knew...

Can I have YOUR autograph?
Inscribe it dearly over my heart on my chest.
Can I go between the scene, backstage?
I love women in uniform, watch you get dressed
As you star in the role for your life
A hardworking single woman who needs no man,
I have a lot of respect for a lady like you,
I need to be on your mailing list as the biggest fan.

I write and serve in the Army of the United States,
But I support my hardworking single women always;
Your determination give me the strength to try,
Thinking of you work and study all day and all night;
You say that you are ordinary just to yourself,
I say that you are extraordinary beyond anyone else.

No matter if I write music, books, or serve,
I still know the definition of a woman's worth
And prove it with the right given chance
For me to be one of your very biggest fans.

Stressless, relaxed, vacated, now accept this invite,
Walk by faith and let's explore your spiritual side,
Take my hand as we go, we don't need to step behind,
You know, baby, finding you took a long very time.

What a beauty and it is my duty
To protect and provide for you,
Like no other man can ever do...

I am that man, I am your man,
I will be through thick and thin...

It's your faith, you can exercise it if you want to,
You may strengthen it if you need to,
Or we can pray if that's what you want to do.

Just let me show you love, if you still believe,
There is no need to be afraid and agree
That I can provide good celibate therapy,
Yes, baby, nothing like real genuine celibacy.

Baby, drama free is the only way to live,
All this love is waiting for a wife for me to give,
When I share my soul and body with that queen,
I guarantee life will be better than any dream.

Ha ha ha ha,
Doctor Lamar is here still for you,
Ready admit you to the Floor of Virtue...

There's no prayer than one in the candlelight,
You don't need to pray alone in this fight,
When temptation, baby, has you against rope,
I would just encourage you back to cope.

Girl, it's your faith,
We can talk this talk as long all night,
Girl, it's your faith,
Or we can walk the walk as we like...

I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim it in my heart
For the rest of my life;
I proclaim the love of Christ

Such a love that does not envy,
Suffers long and retains plenty;
Love as it bleed but not paraded itself,
Kind enough to die on the cross for all else.

… the love of Christ
I proclaim it forever.

The one love which seeks not its own,
And provoke not any evil to a happy home;
I call it a type of love with no rude behavior,
Because it is the kind given from our Savior.

… the love of Christ
I proclaim it now and again.

I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim it in my heart
For the rest of my life;
I proclaim the love of Christ

True love never rejoice in our iniquity,
It encourages a great house to tranquility,
Once all things believed and endured
In this love righteousness is heavily ensured.

… the love of Christ
I proclaim it altogether.

The love that was demonstrated never fails,
Through the resurrection over death, it prevails;
Jesus provided love with an enriched history
without His love we are void beyond mystery.

… the love of Christ
I proclaim it from start to end.

I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim the love of Christ
I proclaim it in my heart
For the rest of my life;
I proclaim the love of Christ

I declare it in Jesus' name.

All my life I have been seeking you
To walk with you in the ways of Christ;
After all the trials you have been through,
It is time you experience a life that is nice.

Comfort is near...

You have been done everything alone,
Or so you believed that you have done so,
But God was there to guide you home,
And made you a branch with leaves to grow.

Protection is here...

Just come to me and let me embrace you,
Because God knows I waited all day to;
Comfort you in these arms of mine,
Feel the image of God in me all the time.

Sweetheart, come here...

You have so put faith in Jesus the Lord,
Now, faith without works it become dead;
We must join together on one accord,
As I am the head of you and God is my head.

Tranquility is thine...

I will not persuade you do to any wrong,
Only provide you with what God provides me;
Everything I have was supposed to yours along,
So come just here and to confide me.

You made are mine...

Just come to me and let me embrace you,
Because God knows I waited all day to;
Comfort you in these arms of mine,
Feel the image of God in me all the time.

Sweetie, Come to me…

Let me hold you, sweet darling,
Embrace the way husband should;
Because we have the thriving garden,
And everything made there was good.

Look at her, she is quite the catch,
Prayed up, successful, and educated;
She has radiance that cannot be matched
As she presses on and be celebrated.

That sister is
Fairest Among Ten Thousand…

So humble in life and its complete nuance,
She does not dwell on trials of the past;
An inspiration she has been in congruence
To those whom had various stones to cast.

That sister is
Altogether Lovely…

She is
Adah, the daughter of Jephthah
She is
Electa, the mother of maidens
She is
Martha, the sister of Lazarus
She is
Ruth, the widow of Mahlon
She is
Esther, the wife of Ahasuerus

She is indeed the sister of the Eastern Star.

…fairest among ten thousand altogether lovely.

Mwen te fèt nan mond sa,
Mond lan nan peche ak dezespwa,
Tankou lòt moun...
Mwen te mache yon chemen nan pèsyade.

Mwen te fèt nan mond sa,
Yon mond nan peche san lafwa,
Tankou lòt moun...
Mwen sote nan lanmè a nan trayizon segondè.

Men avèk favè Bondye,
Mèsi pou Bondye pitye,
Mwen gen yon nouvo lavi
Epi mwen vle pataje levanjil la.

Mwen te fèt nan mond sa,
Mond lan nan peche san paswa,
Tankou lòt moun...
Mwen te monte ti mòn lan nan tout dèt.

Mwen te fèt nan mond sa,
Yon mond nan peche ak tout jwa
Tankou lòt moun...
Mwen te kouche nan kabann lan avèk laperèz.

Men avèk favè Bondye,
Mèsi pou Bondye pitye,
Mwen gen yon nouvo lavi
Epi mwen vle pataje levanjil la.

Mwen konnen kounye a sa...
Gen jijman,
Gen kòmandman
Gen volonte Bondye,
Epi gen favè Bondye.

Pa gen okenn kriye ankò,
Pa gen okenn lensomni ankò,
Gen Bondye pitye sèlman
Se yon privilèj pou gen favè vrèman.

Favè Bondye.

She is truly a sweetheart,
One of a genuine kind of love;
Healing others sets her apart,
With anointed smiles from above.

Her finest years
Are still to come...

He is a man who walks with Christ,
Leaning and trusting on the God in him,
To always deliver someone with his life,
That makes him more valuable than any gem.

His finest years
Are still to come...

Together they are a ministry in itself,
As God enabled them to bless everyone else;
My parents see another year of matrimony
In holiness showing faith with their testimony.

Their finest years
Are still to come...

With your beauty and style,
Do the world a favor boo,
And freeze time with a smile,
Like you did when I first saw you.

Beautiful for certain indeed
You are to all, but to me especially;
Stop my world and it begins
To focus on us without ends.

A lovely lady with finesse so fair,
You heal my life with one stare.

So fierce, baby...

With your beauty and style,
Do the world a favor boo,
And freeze time with a smile
Like you did when I first saw you.

Allow me to witness as I see,
You capture time by smiling at me;
I can submerge myself in this,
The overflow of the flawlessness.

An essence of a lady above any worth,
You are the best creation God set on Earth.

So gracefully...

With your beauty and style,
Do the world a favor boo,
And freeze time with a smile
Like you did when I first saw you.

Good Morning, beautiful,
I’ve been up an hour or two,
Looking at you sleep so peaceful,
After a night of making love to you.

I know I’m a blessed man
To have a strong woman by my side,
Who does the best that she can
To keep me so satisfied.

Good Morning, beautiful,
I had to give God the praise
For very much is needful,
To wake up next to your face.

Working all day made you jaded,
Still you mustered power to please;
I shall always appreciate it
For as long as this heart beats.

Good Morning, beautiful,
Good Morning, baby,
You are so beautiful.

A Poem by 1SP

Man, it feels like the good life,
When you have a good thing,
Blessed is he who finds a good wife,
Because he found a good thing.

A piece of me that was missing from my rib cage,
Warm and welcomed, I felt it in our first embrace;
No need to endure this wilderness all alone,
Let me return you to paradise where you belong.

Time to crown you my queen,
And I am starting with this ring…

Man, it feels like the good life,
When you have a good thing,
Blessed is he who finds a good wife,
Because he found a good thing.

You go through a lot and it's not your fault you do,
I am here to build a world like I was taught to;
So many roads lead to a lifetime of destruction,
But I know this one always leads to your good loving.

Time to crown you up right,
So we are matching tats for life.

Man, it feels like the good life,
When you have a good thing,
Blessed is he who finds a good wife,
Because he found a good thing.

Happiness begins with blessings from heavens above,
Happiness begins with all that I prayed for,
Happiness begins with what every man dreams of,
My true happiness only begins with your love...

Happiness begins with sacrificing my whole life,
Happiness begins with bidding loneliness goodbye;
Happiness begins with crying all my tears away,
My true happiness only begins with you everyday...

It's no question true happiness may not sound real,
Something very hard to wait for and keep still,
But you are the one who gave me something to feel,
True happiness began with you as the Lord revealed.

Happiness begins with declaring your arms my home,
Happiness begins with no need in being all alone,
Happiness begins with companion who believes in us,
My true happiness only begins with earning your trust...

It's no question true happiness may not sound real,
Something very hard to wait for and keep still,
But you are the one who gave me something to feel,
True happiness began with you as the Lord revealed.

Happiness begins with a virtuous woman with grace,
Happiness begins with putting a smile your pretty face,
Happiness begins with finally finding soulmate like you,
My true happiness only begins with saying I do...

Happiness begins saying I do...

Mmm, baby, yes, I do...

Back on his trip on Galatia’s West,
Paul had made it clear for everyone
That we now do inhabit the flesh,
But we LIVE by the faith of salvation.

If it was not grace…

It was the young pupil, Titus,
Who Paul whole-handedly assured
That is not good or niceness,
Which saved, it is mercy which insured.

If it was not grace…

And it was reveal to John
That Jesus is the way, only way,
The truth and the life for everyone
Through Him is how we should pray.

If it was for grace…

Grace and mercy are what you provide,

Provide just enough to get me through this life;

Blood from your body has protected me,

Don't let me go, O Lord, all my fears must be set free.

Jesus, all my life,

I will praise you Christ

I know just how to do it,

And I'm going to prove it.

I like the way you chose me,

I like the way you hold me,

I like the way you've saved me,

I can't get enough of how you graced me.

The Truth and Life are who you are,

The Way to the Father, my bright morning star;

You bore the cross for each and every sin,

Defeated death, giving eternal life to us again.

Jesus, all my life,

I will praise you Christ

I know just how to do it,

And I'm going to prove it.

I like the way you love me,

I like the way you touch me,

I like the way you're keeping me,

I can't get enough of how you speak to me.

I like the way you chose me,

I like the way you hold me,

I like the way you've saved me,

I can't get enough of how you graced me.

Lord, don't go, don't go, please don't leave;

There's no one else to favor me in sight,

Only you can fill all hearts when weak,

Lord, just let me praise all things that I like.

Lord, don't go, don't go, please don't leave;

There's no one else to favor me in sight,

Only you can fill all hearts when weak,

Lord, just let me praise all things that I like.

I like the way you chose me,

I like the way you hold me,

I like the way you've saved me,

I can't get enough of how you graced me.

I like the way you love me,

I like the way you touch me,

I like the way you're keeping me,

I can't get enough of how you speak to me.

Tonight, I have shed another tear,
As it may drizzle gently down my face
In reaction to why I called you here,
With a heart-felt feeling that cannot be replaced,
For a love greater than one can obtain;
To give a love stronger than the heart it resides,
And keep this memory that will remains
For the mentalities in which it presides.

With the discernment that I cannot bear,
The thought of not speaking with you
Is linking to a sentiment that I care,
Perhaps, that's why I have done what I have to;
I know that I'm not the man from your finest dream,
But I am candidly able of becoming a man of yours;
There will be obstacles for us as it may not seem;
Take one at a time and love shall portray the course.

I hope I have touched you the way you have for me,
Because I have my cold feet in fear;
If I have offended you in anyway, I'm sorry,
Due to this very night, I have shed yet another tear.

I wish that I was there…
There to the Lord in all his glory,
The final sacrifice on the cross
Out on Mount Calvary.

I wish that I was there…
There to witness the blood pour all left
Righteously into the Earth saving us
Out of Jesus himself.

I wish that I was there…
There to hear Mary cry out her heart,
And Simon deny him three times
Out in the courtyard.

I wish I was there too
I wish that I was there…

Instead of being the Americans
That none chose to remember;
Let us become the America
That fondly glows with splendor.

No longer will we attack an America
That has the smidge of craft,
If we must attract the Americans
Who have to bridge the gap.

Great opportunity does not come,
Because we inhabit America;
Great opportunity does so come,
Because America inhabits us.

America,
This is the land of the free,
And we must prosper as one,
If we wish to continue to be…
In America,
The land of the free.

Instead of bringing forth an America
That rejects all faces;
We will bring forth Americans
That respect all races.

No longer will we charter an America
That greeds all day with favor,
If we must harbor the Americans
That bleed all day from labor.

For it is not how we live in this country
That determines the fate of our lifetime,
But it is so how we live in this lifetime
Which determines the fate of our country.

America,
This is the land of the free
And we must prosper as one,
If we wish to continue to be…
In America,
The land of the free.

Not only does He give my life a reason,
As of matter of fact, He is my every season,
Letting stand me there in the glory of His Blood;
All I can see are all blessings from above,
There are no blessings like the blessings by the Messiah,
You don't say a word or be heard for Him to inspire.

If it was not for His Holy grace, I could even say
That I would be standing right here today;
Don't put in a place that I could not afford,
I just want to be one with my Savior and Lord.

I could go anywhere
Out of every where,
I wish I could be with
Christ, Christ, Christ,
In paradise...
With my Lord Jesus Christ.

He is my Savior and He saved my life amen,
That's more than I needed for me to stand;
If I nothing more than all His mercy,
Then I would be just fine with His mercy;
His garmets still has not been filled,
They tried to fabricate, but only His Glory is real
The Way, the Truth and Life are in Jesus,
Grace reveals that He would never leave us.

If it was not for His Holy grace, I could even say
That I would be standing right here today;
Don't put in a place that I could not afford,
I just want to be one with my Savior and Lord.

I could go anywhere
Out of every where,
I wish I could be with
Christ, Christ, Christ,
In paradise...
With my Lord Jesus Christ.

Who would I be or Where would I go,
If He didn't die for me, over 2000 years ago?
Now, think about it...

Let me repeat it,
Who would I be or Where would I go,
If He didn't die for me, over 2000 years ago?

Now, think about it...

If it was not for His Holy grace, I could even say
That I would be standing right here today;
Don't put in a place that I could not afford,
I just want to be one with my Savior and Lord.

I could go anywhere
Out of every where,
I wish I could be with
Christ, Christ, Christ,
In paradise...
With my Lord Jesus Christ.

I need you to understand how much I am glad,
The fact in knowing I will always be your dad;
If there is a way I can show you, L.J.,
No kid in the world will ever take your place.

Believe you know me when I say
The world is not enough to take you away
Because you mean the world to me,
And in my arms is where you should be.

Just like a poem with a rhythm that just flows
That's like my heart when I hold you so close;
No matter anyone says nor whatever they do,
It will never ever stop me from loving you.

Believe you know me when I tell you
The world is not enough for us subdue;
Because you mean the world to me,
And in my arms is where you should be.

This love is ours
God has blessed us
This love we have
The world tests us.

The love I have you,
The world never led you to,
Led you to accept it for true
If it is what God lets you do.

Close these weary of mine,
Play the Bad Boy's Having a Party,
I can indulge in delights so fine
Of Friday in Civics that are sweet.

Oh yeah!

Mrs. Chaney and that radio of hers,
Both tuned to the oldies Hot 105;
Luther starts to plays as it recurs,
And she smiles, she dances, sings live.

Well, all right now!

What joy to witness her really bask
Is such a relief from the workweek;
Her daily struggle execrated at last,
As she swings, dwelling in melody.

Oh yeah!

We would just sit, listen, and learn,
Finish the week test quickly to survey;
Our weekly burdens were burned,
Ash like hers burned away in a way.

Well, all right!

I hed aced her class with all the lesson,
Yet words may never suffice gratitude;
That strong Black woman was a blessing,
First to see my strong sense of negritude.

Oh yeah!

Thank you, Mrs. Chaney

I owe an apology to you
Not just any apology, but one from the heart;
Sincere and so very true,
That I was nothing without you taking part,
Part in my life, part in my world;
You are more than a woman, my lady, my girl;
You mean more now to me than life itself;
Your voice seizes in my soul like a web;
As it reverberates in my mind,
How could I leave that behind?

An entire world that I longed to see,
A complete woman that belong to me;
Baby, I saw losing you hurt me worse,
Because my world revolves you, Miss Universe.

I owe you an explanation or so,
Not only one for you, but for each lady,
Who have sacrificed their hearts and souls,
As you devoted your all to men so shady,
So shady your feelings, to your essence,
I took for granted the value of your presence;
What a fool to think that I had it all, boo,
But I realize now that my all is you;
As it echoes in my heart
How could we truly part?

An entire world that I longed to see,
A complete woman that belong to me;
Baby, I saw losing you hurt me worse,
Because my world revolves you, Miss Universe.

After the things that we have been through,
Never did I see that you choose to be alone;
To not love another man for the things I did
Is wrong, because your love is so very placid.

I know that I misunderstood,
But you cannot dismiss man who is good.

Now I am cognizant of the sacrifices you made,
And it is far too late for us to build on knowing;
You have good men now who always appreciate
The love can offer by the way they were glowing.

I think that I had to be crazy,
But there are men who worship their lady.

I just misunderstood you Miss Understanding,
You cannot be that broken to what God is planning;
Please do not do what I did to you others too,
Because I was misunderstanding Miss Understanding.

Your heart is golden and your soul is priceless,
I may have taken your smile for granted over mine,
Because what you deserve is love at it nicest,
So allow yourself to open up someone who is kind.

I see that I was not your equal,
But not all the men in this world are evil.

There is a good man outside your door of fate,
All you have is unlock it and let him in from the rain;
He is drenched like I had you, feeling the weight
Of my lies, your tears, my cheating, and your pain.

I hear that you have found better,
But you have to get yourself back together.

I just misunderstood you Miss Understanding,
You cannot be that broken to what God is planning;
Please do not do what I did to you others too,
Because I was misunderstanding Miss Understanding.

I apologize for those harsh lies I told,
Now go get that man who fills your soul.

Beauty is not an endeavor for you,
Because you were created in nature;
A natural beauty of a garden for two,
Breath blown into you by the Creator.

Woman-
It was you…

So there I dreamed in all my seclusion,
As I anticipated the day of us meeting;
A prayer was answered against destitution,
A rib extracted while I was still sleeping.

Woman-
It was you…

Baby, you are my Eve,
Blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh
From me you have come
With me you shall leave
With you I forever belong
Because you are my Eve.

No longer shall I be lost in a wasteland,
As my arms long for only you to embrace;
Taught to love you much and so patient,
I sacrifice my all to sanctify us by grace.

Woman-
It was Jesus…

Temptations have no chance against us,
We are joined not by law, but by the Christ;
Faith has brought us together as one in love,
Life as one flesh was paid by blood for all vice.

Woman-
It was Jesus…

Baby, you are my Eve,
Blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh
From me you have come
With me you shall leave
With you I forever belong
Because you are my Eve.

Baby, I know that I can be complex,
So complex that I can push you away
And not recognize that I hurt you.

Sometimes, I don't even pay it any mind,
How much I worry about myself,
And still remain blind to how I desert you.

Sweetheart, I know that I don't want nobody but you,
Not another woman in this word can change my view,
Because I truly do, baby, I truly do love you,
Nothing touches my life and heart the way you do.

But I accused you of doing me wrong,
When you have been faithful all along,
Baby, my insecurities got the best of me,
Sweetheart, I am so sorry.

I look at my life and how much joy you brought,
I should've known to not believe people's thoughts;
Misery loves company and allows my mind be bought
By paying attention to the foolishness why we fought.

And I trusted others instead of
Trusting in you, the woman I love;
Baby, my insecurities got the best of me,
Sweetheart, I am so sorry.

In life, I thought I had everything,
The answers of the heart were lost;
I idolized the women of my dream,
But Christ had paid the ultimate cost.

Not by bread alone,
Shall I live a life again…

I manipulated other as well as myself,
The child of a King behaved so immorally;
Putting the fear of God second to all else,
I started to talk of Him without any loyalty.

Not by bread alone,
Shall I speak of life within…

Man cannot live by bread alone,
We need the true bread of life;
The world was saved by our own
Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

So I will not do it,
By not bread alone…

I have stolen from the holy storehouse,
By not bothering to even tithe in truth;
Cheerful giving is the least man endows
For complete salvation in living proof.

Not by bread alone,
Shall I eat once more…

Hatred I felt for my own brothers,
As I slowly learned really to absolve;
Jesus manifested genuinely to others
Unanimity is how Christians evolved.

Not by bread alone,
Shall I be like before…

Man cannot live by bread alone,
We need the true bread of life;
The world was saved by our own
Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

So I will not do it,
By not bread alone…

Baby, we are one flesh,
Truly, we are man and wife;
Baby, we are one flesh,
The best ministry in my life.

I am so captivated by your love,
Baptized in the sea of God's favor;
Each morning to see who I dreamed of,
Beside me, answers my every prayer.

Let me rejoice in you, your worth,
Because you are my sacred crown;
You are my blessing here on earth,
Dubbed in new passion for holy ground.

Baby, we are one flesh,
Truly, we are man and wife;
Baby, we are one flesh,
The best ministry in my life.

No wealth nor home can compare
To the value of my love for you,
Which goes beyond measure so rare,
After all we have been through.

Finding a wife would be drastic,
But I have what is called a helpmate,
And the fulfillment feels fantastic,
God's joint us where nobody can separate.

Baby, we are one flesh,
Truly, we are man and wife;
Baby, we are one flesh,
The best ministry in my life.

Baby, we are indeed..
One flesh.

They say after the rainbow,
come the *** of gold,
But if you look on my end,
You'd see treasure being sold.

All our riches are scarce,
For a drug and firearm
Why is there much danger
If we have not caused harm?

Yesterday, my son smiled
To a rainbow in the slum,
Knowing that it hasn't left,
Because this is where it comes from.

They say after the storm
Comes the rainbow,
Leaving us hope in life
Like a guardian angel.

If we stick together
To help one another
The slum will be
Prosperous again, my brother.

At seven months, my son smile
To a rainbow in the slum,
Knowing, that it hasn't left,
Because this is where it comes from.

Peace...
Where it comes from?
Joy...
Where it comes from?
Happiness...
Where it comes from?
Unity...
Where it comes from?
Love...
Where it comes from?
A rainbow in the slum

Honey, I know that times are hard
And the moments like these are tough,
So let me reassure why we shouldn’t be apart,
And allow our future be dictated by love.

Baby, every night before I sleep
On bent knees to God I pray
For the hearts we have to not leak,
Because he has brought all this way.

We can succeed if we give this a chance;
I can see us growing old and grey,
Looking back on this very day;
We made it beyond our own recession romance!

Honey, I know that at times you feel alone,
And the world can be such a crazy place,
But that doesn’t mean you have be on your own,
I just hate to see the stress on your face.

Baby, everyday after I wake
With closed eyes to God I pray
For the hearts we have to not break,
Because if it’s his will, together we’ll stay.

We can ascend if we give this a chance;
I can see us with laughs and smiles,
After all the tribulations and trials;
We overcame our own recession romance!

Even if we have little money, little work,
All I need is you, honey, for what it’s worth...

When we both are together all alone,
One touch ascends me, take my breath away,
Moving me in places mystical and unknown,
Filled with feelings more than words to say.

If I die today, tomorrow, in the arms of my wife,
Then you can expect me to be a happy man,
Because you all I wanted in this life
And this love I know will surpass my life span.

If and only if...

If I could save tomorrow,
And hold on to tonight,
Then I'd feel no sorrow,
When you want to be held tight.

Throughout my life, I've done wrong,
Until we had crossed paths and merged;
You gave me happiness in a love so strong
That I question if this is what I deserve.

The bond that we have is delightful,
A foundation laid in communication and trust,
We have transcended the envy so spiteful
Of many who long to have strength like us.

If and only if...

If I could save tomorrow,
And hold on to tonight,
Then I'd feel no sorrow,
When you want to be held tight.

If and only if...
I could stop your cries.

If and only if...
I had more time to borrow.

If and only if...
I could spend forever in your eyes.

If and only if...
If could save tomorrow.

Young lady, you have been hurt,
Pain you have in searching for a man;
You say all men just love is to flirt,
And you given all that you can.

How long will it be,
Before you give up all your vice?

You say nobody admires you,
Your strengths and children to raise;
You’ve tried doing what inspires you,
But you will stay void until you praise.

How long will it be,
Before you give your all to Christ?

Search for the Lord,
With faith like a mustard seed
Seek the Lord Jesus,
He shall make you so complete.

…seek ye Christ

You admit to going to church,
Back when you were a little girl;
To think you could’ve led a search,
Instead you followed the world.

How long will it be,
Before you see it just gets worse?

Little darling, you’ve invested all,
All your time, talent, and your tithe;
Only one returns before you call,
Only one makes you happy to be alive.

How long will it be,
Before you seek the kingdom first?

Search for the Lord,
From the bottom of your heart
Seek the Lord Jesus,
He shall surely set you apart.

…seek ye Christ.

Her presence cannot be denied,
She stands tall and strong with pride;
You cannot overlook her magnitude,
Because she has beauty with attitude;
What a woman,
What a woman indeed,
What a strong Black woman,
For her just even be.

She defines the essence of perfection,
In each notable fashion without exception;
Highly cognizant of her forefather and mothers,
Therefore she paves paths for so many others,
What a woman,
What a woman indeed,
What a strong Black woman,
Even for a crazy world to see.

Her smile is like heaven's gate open,
Bringing joy to all who are chosen;
A lady of strength beyond any measure,
And a heart too big for one person for treasure;
What a woman,
What a woman indeed,
What a strong Black woman,
Who wound up inspiring me.

Is it a bird?
Or is it a plane?

It's… It's… It's…

It's no limit to your dreams,
What you so desire to aspire to be,
All you must do as hard as it seems
Is believe that you can succeed;
Others may try to hinder you stride,
Some will so much as doubt you indeed,
But you cannot surrender to kryptonite,
Because I see the superwoman you are to me.

Dignified, poised, strong,
A superwoman you are to see;
Confident, able, young,
The superwoman you are to me;
What a superwoman, to the rescue
Even for villains whose ridicules tested you,
They cannot outwit the superwoman..
You are to me.

You have been mistreated,
By slander, blackmail, and betrayal;
Somehow you still stand undefeated,
No one has seized you to fail;
You are a heroine, a matriarch
A woman of admiration in any degree;
Willing to give and help from your heart,
And that's the superwoman you are to me.

Dignified, poised, strong,
A superwoman you are to see;
Confident, able, young,
The superwoman you are to me;
What a superwoman, to the rescue
Even for villains whose ridicules tested you,
They cannot outwit the superwoman..
You are to me.

It's Superwoman!!!

I found comfort with this ring,
Peace as I hear my soul sing;
An eternity of song for you  and I,
Every time I feel you nearby.

Nothing compares to how much,
I get electrified by a single touch;
Even when you are not around,
You are in this ring to I am bound.

This ring is my profession of our love,
This ring is my protection from above,
I commit to you again as a year’s past;
Vow to you and God, assured to last.

… with this ring.

There is pleasure when we trust,
Being together in prayer saved us;
So overblessed for you to be mine,
A rib only God set out for me to find.

The favor of God covers us both,
Through journeys of marital growth;
We are rejoice today without cursory,
Because God gave us an anniversary.

This ring is my profession of our love,
This ring is my protection from above,
I commit to you again as a year’s past;
Vow to you and God, assured to last.

… with this ring.

Happy Anniversary,
Baby.

I would like to dedicate this piece to us men,
Men who are naive to see a good thing at home;
We often get caught in temptation and let it win,
Because we are too foolish to accept our wrongs.

So read, picture, and listen
To what you can salvage from missing...

She is at home crying herself to bed,
Alone waiting for you to make your return;
Young man, I understand that you are upset,
But love is eternal solely with the will to learn.

Go home to apologize to her,
Listening is the best gift she prefers...

Put the streets on hold for a while,
Because you need to get your home in order;
Walking away from something worthwhile
Does not define a man nor even a quarter.

Go home to apologize to her,
Honesty is the next gift she prefers...

Men If we hold on
To a good thing like this,
There aint nothing
From giving her happiness.

After all the years you both invested,
With the innocent kids you must raise;
Giving up on it what you just ingested
Because she wants to get in your face?

Go back to embrace that woman,
Love is one thing you have in common...

What you two have so special,
Outsiders envy the blessing they see;
Misery enjoys company, so be careful
And fighting for what God gave you to keep.

Go back to hear that woman,
Each other is another you have in common...

Men If we hold on
To a good thing like this,
There aint nothing
From giving her happiness.

Men, now let us make it known,
We will LISTEN, LEARN, and LOVE
All of our strong women at home.

To think my welcome has worn out
In the only place I have called home:
The police told me that I must go about
From the one city in which I had grown.

Listen here, I was born here,
Raised not too far down the street;
Liberty City in my heart, so it’s no fear
Pumping blood of triumph, never defeat;
My eyes filled with hope and pride,
When I noticed heritage and wealth;
This city is home beyond any to reside
As I fight for liberty everywhere else.

To think my welcome has worn out
In the only place I have called home:
The police told me that I must go about
From the one city in which I had grown.

I was born a few years back at Northshore,
To two newlyweds struggling on a daily basis;
Both were striving in the city to provide more
For the children brought in a world so racist;
Now, the police always harassed me as a kid
But I am a veteran now and educated too
And I spend a vacation here then get arrested,
The police tried Jim Crow without rights to view.

To think my welcome has worn out
In the only place I have called home:
The police told me that I must go about
From the one city in which I had grown.

I don’t drink,
I don’t get high,
So I think
It had to be what I drive.

I don’t traffic,
I don’t solicit,
So very tragic,
Police abhor me for a visit.

Stupid how things never changed,
Even I did for my son and nation,
But the police always know my name,
No matter what goo I do I am a situation.

My welcome was gone,
The moment I arrived home.

Baby, I was selfish to think I can do this alone,
The Lord placed you in my life to make US strong;
Completely embracing that I have been wrong
And life with you has given me meaning and a home.

When God made a woman like you,
He made...

A song of patience,
As you waited for me to find you;
A song of promise,
As I stand before you and behind you.

When God made a woman like you,
He made...

Amazing how I dodge this good feeling all my life,
What a GREAT THING to find in you, to find a wife;
Love, I need you in this very walk of faith so blithe,
As I protect and provide for you each day and night.

When God made a woman like you,
He made...

A song of happiness,
As your smile fulfills all virtue;
A song of healing,
As I sacrifice myself for you.

When God made a woman like you,
He made...

A bride to marry,
A queen to have and hold,
A love to never tarry,
Such a heart of gold.

He made...

The rest of my life,
The BADDEST chick I've known,
My every kiss goodnight,
And my house now OUR home.

When God made a woman like you,
He made...

The SWEETEST THING I EVER HAD.

I will always love you,
And I will always care of you.

Woman -
You are so d*mn incredible,
I wish you can see
Just how much you mean to me...

Woman...

You are a piece of work,
A masterpiece, a work of art;
The way work a skirt,
How you whisper in the dark;
It ignites candlelights of desire
Deep within this man's heart
And I want to share that fire
Experience why you are such a work of art.

Woman...

The Mona Lisa, Fifteen Synphony
Nor can the Sixteenth Chapel compare,
The taste of your lips or my memory
Of the refinery of your touch and stare;
It moves me each time I call you my wife
And partake in this date with destiny;
You are the work of art in my life,
Beautiful Black woman, you're the best to see.

Woman,
Your skin so pretty and dark,
Your kiss so precious stole my heart:
... such a work of art.

Woman,
Your body by far the most fine,
Your eyes seem too very divine;
... such a work of art.

Woman,
Your soul is just pure,
Your mind is really secure;
... such a work of art.

The way you treat me like a king,
Woman you are my everything;
You have all of me each part by part,
Because you are such a work of art.

Baby, my arms had just got so weak,
When they were not fit for your sleep;
My core had always hurt and turned,
After you said I make your soul burn.

Baby, all I wanted was to be your best,
But I can see that you are not impressed;
So here I will stay and state
You are indeed, sweetie, worth the wait.

I can see that life is so unfair,
Because it limits quality we share;
So many times I wish I were your shadow,
Just be with you all day wherever you do.

Baby, all I wanted was to be your best,
But I can see that you are not impressed;
So here I will stay and state
You are indeed, sweetie, worth the wait.

All this passion,
All this love
Is standing by
Until you are ready to touch.

This is not just me
This is fate;
Any man can see
You are worth the wait.

A Poem by 1SP

Yours, by the first time I laid eyes on you,
Yours, after all we had been through;
By the time we had first embraced,
I knew that my job was to see it take place...

That big old tree house with two swings beneath
As stars in my skies align each time you breathe;
Just say a prayer and tell me what is a wish of yours,
And I'll never stop until God says I fulfilled my purpose;
Like you're thriving in a true greatness like
Yours, like you walking in the greatest life called
Yours, I'll keep showering you in a lifetime full of fun;
Everything you can possibly need and want,
I will pursue it for you until it's yours.
Yours, all things you dream you can be,
Yours, all things you can mean to me;
For a moment of lifetime to build a memory
Of you being right here with me...

That big old tree house with two swings beneath
As stars in my skies align each time you breathe,
Just say a prayer and tell me what is a wish of yours,
And I'll never stop until God says I fulfilled my purpose;
Like you're thriving in a true greatness like
Yours, like you walking in the greatest life called
Yours, I'll keep showering you in a lifetime full of fun;
Everything you can possibly need and want,
I will pursue it for you until it's yours.

You know I will pursue it until it's yours
Malik, you have a dad you can rely on,
You have a dad to plant your goals on,
Harvest all of yours one after one...
