My twin, my flame,
My heart longs for our summer love like no other.
These tears that flow endlessly drown my sorrows in desperate happy thoughts of you.

And your gaze, oh but your gaze! It nails me, like a bullet to the chest.

My love, my best friend, my flame,
Though this heart beats for you, I must reside from my wavering burst of emotions which call out your name time and time again.

My love, my soul,
For a while my mind struggled to remember your last words,
I grasped our final moment with all my heart as your flame deserted mine.

And so I lay here, under a fading summer sun
Soaking my sorrows away in our now distant memories.
