I've always analyzed things too much
but I'm rarely right
and I used to fill in the gaps of
things I didn't understand with things
I thought
were maybe
archetypes
and always true,
but, no

nothing is constant and I sometimes
forget that the voices coming from
the speakers are
just voices

who know nothing more than I do
about life and the things we're supposed
to feel,
but must be mad enough to
scream their story at me.

but these don't help
and won't help
because as much of a fool as I may be,
I know the difference between
reality and idealism.

Wake me up when I'm older,
for I can't fight any longer.
Wake me up when it's colder,
for I can't be any clever.

Wake me up! Just wake me up
when the world learns to smile,
when people lower their pride,
when eyes of men will see truth,
when peace will never be loathed,
when war of egos will be stopped,
just don't forget to wake me up.

Wake me up when I'm older,
for I can be any clever.
Wake me up when it's colder,
for I can fight any longer.

Remember me when I'm gone as a friend
Not as a brother, father, or lover
If my epitaph reads friend, in the end
I'll be proud of time spent, when I ascend

I went all day
without anyone staring
through the invisible
mask I was wearing

but now was my chance
with the mirror in sight
to finally show
the emotions I hide

as my smile dissapears
the truth is revealed
some sadness some hurt
and the pain that I feel

I'll replace the mask
when the mirror leaves my hand
cause even if they knew the truth
they wouldn't understand

I hear tale

of a man

courageous

loving and simple.

He died one day.

For what you ask?

well I'm going to

tell you about this

man before the talel.

He was born in

a manger. Since

birth he was to

be named king.

Not king of the

land and not the

richest in material

things but king

of the kingdom

of heaven.

Jesus Christ

was his name

and today we nailed

him to a cross.

He bled for me

and you. Every drop

for every sin and

every wrong thing

you have done.

He was brutally

tortured, whipped,

smacked, chained,

carried a cross down

the road to Calgary.

Filled nothing but

passion of

forgiveness is

what willed a

mortal man to

open the gates

to heaven.

He was even

tempted for

40 days

and 40 nights.

by the serpent

liar. There he

proved he was

the son of God.

It is even

with his last

words that he

forgave us for

killing him.

Today take a

second and reflect

and know that

a man named

Jesus Christ

died for you.
