Today I refuse to use,to excuse my face with makeup.
Today you will see the real me, no mascara no eyeliner....yes it is me and I do look finer.
Today I am natural, I capture all who look at me.
Today no make up, no fake up , I refuse to take up those cosmetics.

Someone who smiles at my accomplishments, someone who is gracious and patient.   someone who smiles at the sunshine,  someone who walks in the rain. someone who kisses my tears, someone who feels my pain.
I have numbered all of my tears, all of my fears.  They drop on my pillow , I alone swallow them all.

They stare, they gaze, they peer into your world. Those Liberian eyes of the little boys and the little girls.  Without blinking they are amazed by your skin and your ways. Those innocent eyes how I love when they look  in my direction . I will show them peace and grant them true protection.
