Sometimes I wish I was born as a boy
my late-night strolls wouldn't be seen as coy.
Sometimes I wish I was born as a boy
at least I wouldn't be reduced to a mere toy.

Sometimes I wish wasn't born as a female
my life story would have been a tellable tale.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't born as a female
my journey wouldn't have been filled with storms and hail.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't born at all
coz there nothing I hate more than being a life-size doll.

every time we kiss,
I let poems spill from my lips
onto your tongue

I patiently wait for the day when
you can finally taste one

bye
Disguised as constant lies
Too many failed tries
Persistent reasons to cry
Always wishing to die
BUT WHY?
Your eyes are barely ever dry
Slashes to your thigh
Hoping for a black eye
CAN YOU CLARIFY?
Too many to satisfy
You just want to say goodbye
Countless rules to abide by
WHAT ABOUT SIMPLIFY?
Leave with a final sigh
Depression to intensify
They just turn a blind eye
BYE

Essence below which I lay
on slowly drifting clouds
of stardust, waiting in hope
for my eclipse to pass me by
as you twinkle far above
plastered on my celestial ceiling,
wanting each and every night
to last forever...
Drifting through the cosmos

Tend to me
Like a thirsty garden once forgotten
Sing to me
Like a crying infant, pure and innocent
Hug me
Like an old friend years after
Look at me
Like an abstract painting, more complex with each glance
Touch me
Like the the cold steel strings of your guitar
Love me
Like you did before
I poem I wrote early last year while thinking about with my ongoing need for co-dependence

miss you too

I’m gonna miss you,
My friend.
I’m gonna miss your silly smiles,
However fleeting they may be.
I’m gonna miss your laugh,
Even if it was only ever on my behalf.
I’m gonna miss seeing your face,
All over the place.
I’m gonna miss everything.
Everything about you.
Everything about you,
My friend.

beauty today

tell me the truth. what makes you beautiful?
is it your hair?
how about your eyes?
maybe your thighs?
could it be your lips?
or could it be the way you dip?
i wonder, is it the way you lock hips?
or is it possible the way you smile?
whatever it is, you are beautiful, inside and out
you are your own galaxy
you are the beauty of today
poetry tells us the beauty of the world. but what about the beauty of the writer? what makes you beautiful?

I'm not "smart" like them.

I'm not "bright" as them.

I'm not "confident" like them.

I'm not "beautiful" as them.

I'm not "someone" like them.

Can you just accept that?

I don't like crying myself anymore

-Said myself in the mirror.
Mirror, mirror on the wall

They left me alone
I asked them to leave
They didn't want me
so they did better to forget me.

Nobody returned
to ease my loneliness
I played with my shadows
with dim lights.

Three empty chairs
next to mine
the obvious silence
getting to me.

Bitterly
I wait by the window
Door is slightly opened
but I won't go out.

As part of my ribs, my eyes proclaim your name
Estastic rays spreads in my body
As your gazellic light show me how to write poems
You dance in my chest

Where no one sees you
Only me, sees the sight of your art
Design like clouds above
In your undying light I learn how to love

And make poems proclaim your wonder
As you throb in my heart with beautiful lust
A voice that rings in my heart
A drumsound that rises the sleeping air

And echoing deeply as I worship your portrait
Your beauty ignites peace and love in me
As I genuflect on the sacred liquid of my lips
Love me now so everyone sees you're beautiful
As the hanging sky, only me resides in you

In freedom we swim as bird in wide bed of the sky
Spreading our wings in narrow **** paradise
Where everlasting leaves house us by
That my eyes impregnate the chambers of your womb
