I didn't know what her eyes
usually told others
but right then
they were whispering a secret
she leaned in to give it away
and I leaned in to say "I know"
don't you love it when women
The most intimate thing you can ask a poet,
Is the meaning behind their poems...

Him
I spent the day with you, waiting for the Sun to set; that I might kiss you in the darkness it left behind.
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

Hay
No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

Vanity
All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again
Usually when it happens I'm upset
I fall apart and I'm crushed for a bit
Not after this time though

I just feel numb when I'm alone
Not really caring about anything much
Less myself

It's scary but I don't know what to do to get rid of this

Little did she know,
I love her
and the chaos
in her heart.

she told me her saturn was returning
the icing on the cake
of a well baked excuse

I asked, 'what on earth',
but she was far from it
she felt my climate change
and had jumped in a rocket

the recipe was written on the stars
and we were following it with ease
it said to turn up the temperature
but she turned 180° degrees

Erika
it is nearly midnight

and I see her

in all of her elegance

dancing through the trees,

calling me to her.

she radiates,

glows with a light so pure

so ethereal

I almost weep

for what did I do

to deserve the treasure

that is

the moon
I was outside earlier, and I swear the moon was a little brighter. It caused my imagination to run wild, but I’m satisfied with the result.
