Fall in love with a writer
they say and you will never die (quoted)

Fall in love with a writer
they say and you will find yourself
embodied in words

Fall in love with a writer
they say and you will find yourself
stretched over lines and pages

Now,

What if a writer falls in love with you?
What happens is that their untamed mind
becomes an asylum where
words smash themselves
on the walls of their brains
summoning
their hands just
to let them out

What if a writer falls in love with you?
What happens is that their addiction
to falling in love is amplified
and when they love
OH THEY LOVE,
they get a certain high
that numbs their inhibitions to reality
and shuns logic to a very far away land

they  reach a mental state
that lifts you to high enough
just to see a glimpse of their world
just to taste a drop of their
potion
but not all of it

What if a writer falls in love with you?
What happens is that their eye *****
birth and harness flames that burn the coldest
of hearts and warm the strongest
of selves

What if a writer falls in love with you?
What happens is that their mind soaks up
every bit, every breath
every call, every cell
every touch, every talk
just to embroider it
in the quilt of thought
that's weaving endless stories about you
in their mind

What if a writer falls in love with you?
God have mercy on their soul
for their craving becomes dangerously
intensified, wrapping itself
to their muses,
giving them the sole purpose
of existing

For the more they love
the more stories they write
and more they feel
the longer
they
live
...your heart is a treasure,
one that I covet,

All the things one wishes a life to convey,
...to have your heart,

Is, -to live every day.
although we may not

physically reach out

and feel , hand to hand ,

across far distant dimensions - -

Poetry is touching souls
though I have not been publishing much...I have greatly enjoyed the intimate sense, imbibed through quietly reading some amazing work

Thank You !

If only I could wish to forget you.

I remember it being not so long ago, when your awkward smile imprinted itself to my memory. I remember when you brushed your hair out of your face, when your eyes told me "well, aren't you something else."

I remember the stories you told me. You told me the story of a little boy who was afraid to grow up. We relived the stories you kept in that scared head of yours and gave them hope for a better ending.

I remember the times you fell on your knees, searching for acceptance. You were always yearning for empathy. You were tired of sympathy. I cleared away the broken glass. I gave you a magic mirror, to show you the goodness you couldn't see in yourself.

I remember the tears that you let me keep. I held you in my arms, in my heart; for yours was a heavy burden I couldn't let you bear alone. I saved you from that anchor you called a soul, even if it meant that I drowned too.

I still keep them to this day.

It wasn't so long ago.

You gave me your heart. I trusted you with mine.

How easily you just threw it away.
i wish i could throw you away too

I was thinking love,
You were thinking leaving.
You were moving on
And I was still believing.

Life is ever changing
No matter how it starts;
Some of it is wonderful,
Some can break our hearts.
We start out like a storybook
Two souls that meld as one
Everything we choose to do
Becomes our special fun.

Going out and staying in
Are legendary loving things.
Today it’s easy to ignore
Tomorrow waiting in the wings.
So, I paid very little mind to
That you chose not to talk
And never quite got around to
Holding hands when we walk.

I was thinking love,
You were thinking leaving.
You were moving on
And I was still believing.

At first even in wintertime
My heart was warm as toast.
Sitting by the fireside snuggled
That was what liked most.
I was storing up memories
Of every single loving day.
You were figuring how you could
Quickly go your own way.

I was thinking love,
You were thinking leaving.
You were moving on
And I was still believing.

Ocean ,
Always in motion,
Or sometimes calm,
Like a bird on ur palm,
I wish it no harm,
But to sit beneath it,
And admire it's charm,
The environment is silent ,
And the rays of light passing though ,
Like the melodious Cords of a violin,
The blue colour,
Turns a shade darker,
Going down farther,
U sink in its peace,
And everything above cease,
Above the waves fold,
This is a story never told.
This is based on how the reader imagines it
