Ever since I was a kid,
The answer was deeply hid -

Am I unique?
Or am I just a part of something big?
I don’t remember peace
Chaos has never left my side
Not ever a sense of release
Not ever a place to hide
Watching my joy decrease
As my age multiples
I can feel myself breathing
But am I truly alive

I love that smile.
It makes my day.

With the clear, morning sky,
And the smell of fresh, recent rain,

Let's take a walk
down my favorite lane.

Stay by my side
Let's enjoy the endless time we have.

It's amazing how
The presence of someone really special to you
Can uplift your world entirely.

the job of the artist
is to be
luminous and dangerous

luminous to others
by being
dangerous to themselves

when the words are ripped from the chest,
atmosphere disbursed by the body’s projectile messes,
starburst fireworks,
luminous and dangerous,
luminating the shared night,
laminating your truths,
in poems disguised

and so the job,
our work,
begins
I’m alone a lot
But, then again
I’m really not

I may only
Have you
But you’re more
Than will ever do

Some may
Have many
But for many
That’s none

Having only you
Makes their many
Seem so
Outdone
Love Friendshio loyalty

Carve a picture of your face into the Halls of Time
Preserve yourself forevermore
In the history of humankind
OBEY -the Universal Law
DO WHAT THOU WILT - Harm Not
Scrape the sky with your canines
Make the people sing your name
Slave for no divine reward
And fear no eternal flame

Devil may care,
Live and let live
DO WHAT THOU WILT - Harm Not

We are a miraculous animal
Tricking ourselves into spurning our own gifts
Overcaffienated/Undersatisfied
Our eyes firmly planted
In the center of the sky
We've spent so long waiting for angels
No one remembers:
We Are Divine.

DO WHAT THOU WILT; Defend Thyself
DO WHAT THOU WILT; Indulge Thyself
DO WHAT THOU WILT; Enjoy Thyself
DO WHAT THOU WILT; Respect Thyself

I Am God
You Are God
God Is A Lie
I Am God
You Are God
God Is An Idea
Born In The Minds
Of Us,
The Inventors
God Is A Tool
Used For Control
His Soldiers Are Fools
Losing Their Souls

DO WHAT THOU WILT
BUT FEAR NO GOD
DO WHAT THOU WILT
GOVERN THYSELF
DO WHAT THOU WILT
PROTECT THY WORLD
DO WHAT THOU WILT
BE WHO YOU WISH
DO WHAT THOU WILT
HARM NOT
WASTE NOT
DO
WHAT
THOU WILT
something scribbled in the same notebook as my previous entry. i'm guessing written around 2013.
Ode
Roses are red

Violets are blue

But roses aren't really red they're kinda this weird shade of apple

And violets are far from blue, they're actually purple

See these are the lies we tell ourselves so the rest of our stories make sense,

Like I keep telling myself that "I love you's" are best said in twos

But I think the chances of that these days are about as good as trying to find a violet that's actually blue so

In that case

Roses are apple

Violets are purple

Good luck trying to finish that one

Because my "I love you's" are lonesome.
My take on a classic

It’s getting harder and harder.
And now I am crying.
And now I am laying in bed the entire day when it is beautiful as hell outside.
And *******.
When does it get easier?
