tears glisten in the moonlight,
but it shines too bright.
blocking out reality,
and the sad fatality.
of my heart,
and it's broken parts.

I think the devil is after me
can feel it in my bones
everytime I'm alone
someone crawls into my head
filled with demons he sends
he tells them to stay still
slowly I'll destroy myself

I didn't leave you for him
I wish you wouldn't listen to them
I left you for me

I wasn't happy
Afraid to be lonely
Yes you treated me perfectly

I'm thanking you for trusting me,
I'm thanking you for being mine.

Because one of the greatest gift you can give someone is thanking them for being part of your life.
