Falling, falling, falling
Wanting to move,
Wanting to scream,
The blackness catches you,
With an gentleness.

Falling, falling, falling
Without a sound
Without a touch
In a motionless free-fall,
Till you close your eyes

Falling, falling, falling
Clean and simple

Dog
Anger bubbling under the surface of skin, rage seething from every pore, in blistering explosions of energy scalding the clothes touching.

Revelling in the scorched dust beyond the plastic walls of self control, grit buried his eyes, a mad dog can feel the call rippling through his flesh.

White pain spat from snapping teeth, animal unhinged, sinking faster into the uncontrollable, instinct thrashing to be ripped from its bindings.
I wore this a few years ago now so it’s a bit unrefined, but still one of my favourites.
So cathartic to read.

My heart trembles when she thinks of...
The cold, the fear, the fear of cold.
A weak muscle with strong impulse.

Longing to be with you, my heart.
Fluttered far from here, hiding,
In a place I cannot reach,
I wait for you,
I wait for you,
As you wait for me.

Why have you left me, my heart?
I can see you, now,
Trembling in the hollow ground,
Covered in the cold, cold, cold,
You wait for me,
You wait for me,
As I wait for you.

Unity is a concept never meant for us, my heart.
We will forever be split, torn
...Tormented
There is enough cheese in this poem to end world hunger. I love it.

The ghost you left behind.
I shiver when I feel your ghost trail behind me,
No point turning around, you won’t be there.
I hold you shiver as long as It will last,
Too short. Not enough time to free you, and your ghost.
