beware when you fall in love
with an artist
be it a painter, a singer, or poet

for the artist will
paint you
with strokes and hues
in shapes of every kind

sing about you
with heartbreak lyrics
and feelings which rhyme

write about you
with the simplest words
and a secret message she wants to say

beware of the artist,
and her love
one wrong move
and you're an artwork in her display

May break my bones,
But words will never desert me.
It's not a 10w poem because the title is part of the poem.

I know not of the thing I seek
Does that make me weak?

a solitary sparrow
sings for all as all else
is silent
within that tiny breast
a heart beats for the joy
cradling the whole Universe
Little painted homes  .  .  .
Placed for colourful songbirds,
  .  .  .  Sparrows boldly nest.

Speaking with our hands
We discharge disagreements at
The windows of our castle.

Taking out the eyes of our love
One retina at the time.
Blinding our union until

We forgive each other with
Passionate agreement.
Speaking with our hands.

I'm not cold.
I've learned; you'll
Live. It's just pain.
Let it hurt
Itself out.
