Be you black
Be you white
We are all one

Be you pink
Be you  brown
We are all one

Man is man
No matter his colour
No matter his tongue

i guess i was the one
foolish enough to believe
that maybe
we might have made it,
to prove fate wrong
and outlive even our own fears.
now i see that i
was just another form
of therapy to you,
an escape from the every day
a hiding place from your demons.
i wish i had realised
that i was just another idea
before i pulled down my walls
one brick at a time,
forgetting that my heart
was only ever
made from paper.
- i never wanted to say goodbye but now i see you already did.
perhaps it's a hello
to a new chapter

perhaps it's a warning
to run before it's too late

perhaps it's a goodbye
because it is too late

but i can feel my life
waving at me

and it's okay that
i can't figure out why

but it's probably bad
that i don't care

rather, i can't care anymore
because i've cared too much

i'm not sad or excited
i'm not optimistic or pessimistic
i'm not scared
but i'm not numb

i'm just tired.
Words I want to say
Too hard to express out loud
               Replaced by
       Alphabet Tiles
I saw the moon,
golden through the clouds.
Reminding me,
of the time I once loved you,
and you poisoned my soul.
You drained me dry,
as I appeared a fool.
