Got to keep myself awake
till the night shakes
and breaks from the sun arising
got ashes
in my glass of wine
cause i smoke and drink
like i'am blind
tides of indifference and euphoria
trouble my mind
when its dark
only the edge of your blade shines
and lions fight the inferiors
who cry from the injustice of their lives
cause the just are right
no matter if they are fighting the good fight
i remain calm as a leave of grass
feet stomp down and i wait till they pass
i watch the clash
of virtue versus virtue
i smile a broke smile
cause i know it too well
all my life it's was i have been through
like it was new to me our to you
i handle it with irony and you do too
pendulum swinging
from c-dur to g-cis
a singer can make a wish
on a star that soon will be gone
and claim the memory
that still lingers on
Upon a sweet zephyr
     whirled a scent,
something so familiar
   midst that breeze,
'twas like warm apple pie
   sitting amid a windowsill
wafting delectable
   reminiscence of long ago,
children's laughter
   full of caramel & pepper,
petunias, summer rain
      and hot cayenne spice
all delightfully blissed
in a blast of fragrant air's
momentously fresh nostalgia
I've learnt that I crave acceptance
So is this poem an epiphany;
Or simply, a cry for attention?
Paenitentia's pondered thoughts.
He fell before his time
with a thud.
A loud thud.
Someone screams.
They gasp,
unable to speak,
unable to react.
Commotion.
Expressions of horror,
sorrow,
pity,
pain.
The wind blew silently.
Moments froze.
Somewhere that seemed miles away,
they see a twitch.
a quiver of hand.
A brave soldier of life,
our unsung hero,
claimed before time.
His heart stopped.
Their hearts stopped.
And then with the last drop of tear
shed,
****!!!
Another beautiful soul
disappears into thin air.
Dedicated to a friend who
committed suicide some time ago by jumping off the seventh floor of our institute.
May all the broken, departed souls
Rest in Peace in heaven.
And to all those who are in search of the meaning of their life and questioning their mere existence, I love you. Stay strong, you're worth it all.
take my fears and

place them by

the river bed

--if you can--

swim near the shore

and hold my head

above water so

I can see land,

only then

will I believe

what’s in

store ahead.
