The chaos was over

The sun came out and shed it’s light on all the wreckage

Nothing

Sometimes all the space around me is so infinite I can’t even feel it’s edges
It’s just me and all this space
Coffee and space.
Lunch and space.
A book and space.
I fill so little of it
I just know that all of the empty space is slowly leaking into me and filling me empty

I can not stop

Who showed me
who I could be and
taught me I was
worth fighting for
The boy who spoke
in song lyrics and movie quotes
who got my everything
without even asking
The story about falling
for someone you could never
fully have and learning to
find peace in that...
