I am made from scars and a broken heart,
shattered promises forgotten like
shards of glass from the past, scattered
across the expansion of time.

We all are created with stars in are
DNA, a dusty and ****** design
from the mind of the great divine.
The universe breathes because we
can imagine it.

We are meant to grow and die,
to choose our paths but some
are not so blessed, we have
no freedom like the rest.

My path is not my own,
for I was born to be just
steal but flowing like a river
of words, a poet, an emotional
carpet for everyone to use.

These are my designs, my
contribution to this existence.

Here I am not stagnant, but I can fly,
sail, run, jump, claim, dive, and
shine. Poetry is my path to freedom.

My journey as a poet has brought me many designs, paths and friends. It's been a great adventure and I am hoping for many more. ❤️
I had been waiting for so long
For the singer and her songs
And the day arrived for me to watch her perform live
On a Saturday night

She has been on my playlist for more than a year
Her voice so unique, every morning a joy to hear

The stars twinkled in the sky
The stage a spectacle, alive
She walked in her glittering costume, all glam
Her troupe, by her side, electrifying

In her deep and mesmerising voice
All heart and soul, she sang
The audience entranced, danced

To the pulsating music and strobing lights
Colourful confetti,  rained down on the ground

We lounged, spellbound
As Fireworks illuminated the sky
Culminating in a crescendo of fire and sound
A night to remember, divine

Writing to me
is not escape
rather ideas
to shape

to do away
with dubiety
lacuna, uncertainty
in search of clarity-

I know the limit
of my ability
I'll not venture
beyond my boundary

but to persevere only
humbly and patiently-
I'll leave no legacy
in this my endless journey.

Dew drops gather silent thoughts,
On the spider webs of yesterday,
And the world finds peace in waiting,
For moonlight to find its way,
Through night's sleepy waters.

The stars begin their slow retreat,
While shadows stretch and bend,
In this space between dreaming,
Where yesterday and today blend,
I watch the heavens discreetly.

When musing over the past few days,
Caught between a breath and a sigh,
Dawn teeters on the horizon,
Of a dark morning sky,
And I dally in limbo's sway.
