a conglomeration, a pastiche,
two  Italian words affixed,
without hyphen, space, signaling
unity, a merger of a perfect sensory
morsel,

every language unicorn unique with
overlapping skin cells, entangling roots,
so do not be surprised when you,
who speaks not Italian, yet the brain
reverses the words in your eyesight
and is instantaneously understood

I love this letteral literal littoral
literacy
connective tissue that is a humans binding, and oneof my greatest lessenings, is that never
achieved real fluency in my cousined
romance languages, though oft inserted
in my scribbled poesy, for the emphasis
of satisfaction when saying
certain words in a related language carries
a style, a tune, that elevates its conceptually

so friend, multi lingual,
aware of my affection for
mixing, mining words of
multiplicity, makes, creates
a new word just for me:

which deserves a plain old perfect
WOW!

will never sound
as rich, inherently
musical, poetic
as saying:

Sometimes life leads
Occasionally, we follow.

But today becomes yesterday
And quickly turns tomorrow.

Time is fluid,
it always flows.

In the path of least resistance.

Always forward, never to return.

And so we swim,
like salmon up a river.

Trying to get back to some,
 something or other.

To a beginning not remembered.
To some end, to forever.

Back to that shallow pool of humanity,
only to flounder there and die.

Like the salmon,
who's life begins and ends in the same place.

Who knows how far we could go.

If we had only learned
  to go with the flow.
Feeling philosophical, or maybe just too many beers. lol

Make sure the fit
Is not too tight,
Or you may forget
It's there in the night,
Blurring wrong and right.

Remove the mask,
Let your soul be bare.
No need to ask—
Just show you care.

Hold someone close,
Feel their beating heart.
Life's truest moments
Need no guise or art.

Now is the hour
Of Hibernation

Rest grey muzzle soft
Into rotting bole

Living on belly-fat
Of Summer

Snorting Sleep

In the gray it dwells,
shades of sorrow, hues of joy,
eyes paint what they feel.

Between dark and light,
truth bends to our weary hearts,
colors shift with moods.

A storm clouds the mind,
turning clear skies into ash,
world shaped by our fears.

Yet hope’s golden glow,
softens shadows, clears the haze,
brightens all we see.

Feelings weave the veil,
through which life unfolds its face,
mine lies in between.
Sometimes I don't feel or see colour's rather shades of in-between black and white.

Grains of sand sift through
The hourglass of timeless flow
As we journey on.
