Us almost to drop our wits

What you can do for us,
Do well and be a plus
Africa needs your star
To make not to mar
Life  ought be a resolution
Carved on a lovely mission

Broken as is
Fire at peace
Let be
As I am.

Not a puzzle piece
To solve
Nor a shattered doll.

Scarred as a
Warrior must be
Shaped by the
Travails of time.

Take me thus
For who I am.

Time has given up on me
And so has gravity,
As I float through
The barriers of time.
Floating through the past,
                               the present,
                               the future
Never settling anywhere
A stranger even in
My own memories
Don’t mind me, I’m
Just visiting
Just passing through
