The birds sing silently,

the flowers start to cry,

you ask yourself why,

in the field with no privacy.

The trees whisper to you,

'you're a fool',

'look what you blew',

What you did was so cruel.

The pages flutter through your fingers,

The eerie theme lingers,

But you turn the pages.

You sink your teeth into this book,

Your head staying shook,

But you turn the pages.

The words are eating you,

Your thoughts stew,

But you turn the pages.

The last page is a mirror,

The pages are much clearer,

The pages turn you.

The darkness awakens you,

Your thoughts fall apart like dry glue.

All you want is to be okay,

But you accept you may never see that day.

One foot in front of the other,

Open your eyes, it's no bother.

All you want is to be okay,

But you accept you may never see that day.

Draw back your curtain,

Life will be good, I'm certain.

All you want is to be okay,

But you accept you may never see that day

You drag yourself downstairs,

There have been no answer to your prayers.

All you want is to be okay,

But you may never see that day.

It's dark inside,

the rooms ravaged and the floors frayed,

not a soul would step foot.

Step back onto the grass that's dried,

and you wonder where's the aid,

but there's nothing to input.

You walk back to resume your route,

a body breezes past,

they open the door with no doubt,

you look back, it's you.

Somewhere in London there’s a girl crying,
With her feeling astray,
And her mind in dismay,
She hates the perfect timing.

With her tears flowing,
And the thoughts growing,
She thinks she is alone.

She’s never herself,
Anxiety stacked on a shelf,
But she’ll start to change,
In this life so very strange
