Listen to Me

Can you hear me,
with your hands cupping your ears

I'm speaking to you,
wiping away my tears

Can you see me,
with your hands covering your eyes

I'm giving myself to you,
I have shed my disguise

Are you listening to me,
Can you make out my pleas?

You couldn't see me
You couldn't hear me

Now I'm gone.

Sitting at home writing writing WRITING and the words dont flow
I sit while this muse doesn’t show.
I want to be unique I want to be original.
make this poem biblical.

I think in iambic.
And still the sirens in my skull stay silent of their sweet symphonies.
Trying to use figurative language,
Like a new born baby trying to use its new legs.
Putting my brain under an incubater,
Trying to force hatch ideas like eggs

Sitting in my room listening to slam
about to slam my head on the ground
bam bam bam!
Maybe write about corrupt uncle sam?
Try to be a shooting star and break the mold

But mold is gross
So I stay inside and remain quiet
And pretend that one day my slam might start a riot
Could I start a rebellion
And while fighting deppresion,
Could fight this opression,
of not being able to write this poem.

If I am a rose, then let me be your bouquet.
If I am your bouquet, then let me be your garden.
If I am your garden, then let me be your field.
If I am your field, then let me be your happy place.

And if you get weak, and sleepy, and blue,
then let me be your flower bed, so I can hold you.
I love you.

They’ll check your wrists,
But not your thighs,
They’ll check your smile,
But not your eyes
They’ll avoid the truth,
Believe the lies,
Nothing to sooth,
No reason to cry,
Our smiles are bright,
Eyes are a bit dull,
Wrists are clean despite,
The blade with an emotional pull,
And we’re emotionally unstable,
But they say that’s okay,
We are all a bit of a riddle,
But that’s the only thing we can convey,
And the world will open to swallow us up,
But that’s okay, at least our habits remain,
And when their arms finally open up,
We will show them the reflection they taught us to shame,
So we paint a smile with the color of red,
From the thighs they didn’t check,
And from our eyes we bled.
And they'll only understand,
When the noose hold us by our necks,
And if they had thought twice,

Maybe our eyes they would have checked.

Why
Why do you push people away?

"I want them to be happy."

I want to live just 2 inches above the clouds
Where you don’t need an umbrella
Not a raincoat, nor a scarf
You can leave all moods behind,
I might carry 20 pounds of memories packed in a box
But clouds can’t hold any old rocks,
Maybe I'll take only your kiss
Because is light as a bliss,
Or maybe a piece of your heart
I think that would be pretty smart!
It would be nice to live 2 inches above the clouds:)
